    LOCKPORT — Marie Concetta Rosati Bartholomew passed away Thursday, July 25, 2013. Born in Lockport on March 21, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Nick and Rosa Napoleone Rosati. Marie grew up in Malden, MA, with an aunt and attended Emerson Elementary, Beebe Junior High and Malden High School. She returned to be with her family at the age of 15. Marie married Peter E. Batholomew on November 23, 1940. She worked at Harrison Radiator during WWII, and she later went on to work at Corson Manufacturing, retiring in 1982. She was a member of the Dale Association and enjoyed playing cards and doing crafts. Marie was predeceased by her husband, Peter, who passed away in 1989; and her son, Peter D. (Barbara) Bartholomew.

    Marie is survived by her grandchildren, which she enjoyed caring for, Anthony J., Daniel (Samantha), David (Rhonda) and Eric. She was the great-grandmother of Malina, Blake, Noah, Gavin and Jaedyn Bartholomew, Joseph Henley and Morgan Clack; and several nieces and nephews. Marie was predeceased by her siblings, Emillio "Ray" (Mary), Alphonse "King", Daniel (Ann) and Frank (Tess) Rosati, Philomena "Fannie" (James) Pelletterie, Angeline (Arnold) Biano and Mary (Homer) Robillard.

    Friends may call Sunday 3 to 7 PM at Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday morning at 11:30 AM in All Saints R.C. Church, 76 Church Street, Lockport. Interment will be in Cold Springs Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, NY 14094, would be appreciated by the family. A thank you for the loving care from the grandsons, Anthony, David and Rhonda Bartholomew, Sue Robillard, Arnie and Wanda Biano and Barbara Alberti.

    funeral services will be held at
    9:30 a.m. Monday and at 10 a.
    m. from St. Anthony's Church.
    Burial will be in Cold Spring
    Cemetery.
