    Mrs. Lottie A Zoss, widow of the
    late Charles Zoss, of 433 Park Ave-
    nue, passed away on Saturday, Au-
    gust 30th, 1941, at the Lockport
    City Hospital. She is survived by
    one son, John W. Wilson, her mother,
    Mrs, Retta Bates, and two brothers,
    Arthur and David Bates. The
    funeral was held this Tuesday afternoon
    at 2:30 o'clock from Taylor
    & Reynolds Funeral Home, Niagara
    at Transit St., the Rev. Herman
    Meier officiating. The bearers
    were Fred Shardon, Charles Hammer,
    Harry Whalen, Jay Rudd,
    Herman Rudd and Frank Reiser.
    Interment was In Cold Springs Cemetery.

    David Bates, Sr., entered into rest,
    on Saturday, February 18th, 1933, at
    his home 433 Park Ave. He is survived
    by his wife, Rita Zates, one
    daughter and two sons, Mrs. Charles
    Zoss, Arthur Bates and David Bates,
    Jr., and one sister Mrs. Kate Boyer
    all of Lockport, and one brother William
    Bates of Albion. The funeral
    services will be held at his late resldence
    Tuesday afternoon at 3:30
    o'clock. Burial at Cold Springs cem
    etery.

    Thursday evening at 8 o"clock at
    the Bethany Presbyterian church,
    Menands. The Hev. J. K. Phlllips of
    this city will p e r f o rm the ceremony,
    assisted by the Rev. Paul K. Landis
    of Menands. A reception will follow
    a t the home of the bride's parents.
    Miss Margaret Eaton of Detroit
    will be maid of honor, and the
    bridesmaids will be Miss Madeline
