MISS DOLLIE D. REEVES, daughter of
Mrs. Ira Reeves. Higley, Ariz., and the late
Mr Reeves, exchanged marriage vows Saturday
(June 15, 1963) with Melvin J. Bates.
The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs.
John Bates, Michigan Avenue.
Rev. Theodore L. Menter performed the
single-ring ceremony at St. Paul Lutheran
Church.
An afternoon reception was held at the
home of the bridegroom's parents.

THE BRIDE WAS given in marriage by
Syd Hampton. She wore a white lace streetlength
gown with a three-quarter-length
sleeved jacket. A pearl crown securing a
short silk veil completed her ensemble. She
carried a bouquet of white carnations and
sweetheart roses.
Mrs. William Robinson attended the
bride as matron of honor. She was attired
in a blue lace street-length gown with a
full skirt, accented by a cascade of .pink
carnations.

Ronald Bates and Marvin Bates as ushers.
The bridegroom's mother wore a blue
and gray silk print dress and a pink carnation
corsage.
