    Jane Bates Pickles died at the
    home of her daughter, Mrs. Burt A.
    Duquette, No. 88 Oliver street. Monday
    evening, December 8, 1829. Aged
    81 years, 8 months. She is survived
    by one daughter and torse sons
    Mrs. Burt A. Duquette, Joseph B.
    Frank F. and Fred C. of Loekport
    one sister and two brothers, Mrs. Kate
    Boyer, David Bates of Loekport.
    William Bates of Albion, five grandchildren
    and two great grandchildren.
    Private funeral services from
    the home Wednesday. Interment will
    be In Glenwood cemetery.

    Eaton Boughton. daughter of Mr.
    a n d Mrs. George Winegar Boughton
    of Menands. and Dr. William Clifton
    Bates of Menands, will take place
    Thursday evening at 8 o"clock at
    the Bethany Presbyterian church,
    Menands. The Hev. J. K. Phlllips of
    this city will p e r f o rm the ceremony,
    assisted by the Rev. Paul K. Landis
    of Menands. A reception will follow
    a t the home of the bride's parents.
    Miss Margaret Eaton of Detroit
    will be maid of honor, and the
    bridesmaids will be Miss Madeline
    Bates, sister of the groom; Miss
    Frances Kellogg, Miss Hazel Schill-
    ing and Miss Dorothy Miller of Me-
    nands. The best man will be Merle
    Bates of N e w York, a b r o t h e r of t he
    groom and the ushers will be Ar-
    thur and Harold Bates, brothers of
    the groom; Eldridge Menand of Me-
    nands and Dr. Elwood Maguire,
    Herkimer.
