BATT - Hazel V. Batt, 77, of the
Tonawandas, entered into rest on
Friday, (August 23, 1985) at the
Grand Island Manor Nursing Home.
Mrs. Batt was a member of the
Salvation Army Golden Agers and
the Tonawanda Senior Citizens.
Beloved wife of the late Edward
H. Batt, mother of Richard H.
(Patricia) Batt of North Tonawanda.
Also surviving are four grandchildren,
three step-grandchildren
and a brother-in-law, Raymond J.
Towne of Tonawanda.
- Friends may call Saturday from 7
to 9 p.m. and Sunday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9
p.m. at the CREASEY MEMORIAL
CHAPEL, INC., 138 Delaware St.
Tonawanda where prayers will be
said Monday at 9 a.m. followed by a
Mass of Christian Burial at St.
Francis of Assisi Church at 9:30
a.m. the Rt. Rev. Msgr. Ralph M.
Miller will officiate. Interment Mt.
Olivet Cemetery

Mr. and Mrs. Edward H. Batt of 36 Walter Ave.,
Tonawanda, will celebrate their 50th wedding
anniversary Saturday with a party in the
Tonawanda home of their son, Richard. Mr. Batt
and'his wife, Hazel, both are Buffalo area
natives and were married in St. Francis of Assisi
Church, Tonawanda, in 1927. Mr. Batt retired
from Remington Rand Corp. after 43 years
employment, but then began a new career in real
estate and presently is employed by Realty 1.
