    LEWISTON — Gary W. Schultz, age 71, formerly of Porter Center Rd. in Lewiston, died on Saturday, September 1, 2012 in the Treasure Coast Hospice in Ft. Pierce, FL, after a lengthy illness. Gary was born on April 10. 1941 in Niagara Falls, NY, the son of the late Wallace F. and Edna G. (Zahno) Schultz and was a 1959 graduate of Lewiston Porter High School.

    He married Gladys Jeanette (Hlavenka) Schultz on June 1, 1963 and they lived in the Town of Porter until moving to Port St. Lucie, FL, 11 years ago. Gary was a Sales Service Manager, employed by Stone Container Co. in Wheatfield, for 45 years, retiring in 1999. He was a member of St. Peter's RC Church in Lewiston and of St. Bernadette RC Church in Port St. Lucie. Gary was also a former member and an Exempt Member of the Lewiston Volunteer Fire Co. # 1. He enjoyed farming.

    He is survived by his wife, Gladys Jeanette Schultz of Port St. Lucie, FL; his children, Lora (Joe) Kolmer of Kenmore, WA and Michael Schultz of Niagara Falls, NY; his grandchildren, Nathan and Evan Schultz, Shea and Naomi Kolmer; a brother, Marvin Schultz of Ransomville; his mother-in-law, Germaine Hlavenka of Niagara Falls, NY; a brother-in-law, Joseph Hlavenka of Los Angeles, CA; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a daughter, Lynn Marie Schultz and a brother, Gordon Schultz.

    Friends may call at HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, September 7th at 10:00 AM in St. Peter's RC Church, 600 Center St., Lewiston, with the Rev. Michael Zuffoletto officiating. (Please assemble at Church). Entombment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Treasure Coast Hospice, 5090 Dunn Rd., Ft. Pierce, FL 34981 or to the National MS Society, Upstate NY Chapter, Donor Relations Center, 1650 South Avenue, Suite 100, Rochester, NY 14620.

    Wallace F. Schultz, 86, who had worked for Carborundum Co.'s Bonded Abrasive Division in Wheatfield for 37 years, died Monday (Nov. 23, 1998) in Northgate Manor Health Care Facility, Wheatfield, after a lengthy illness.
    Schultz retired from Carborundum in 1974 as a laborer. He also operated a vegetable farm at his home for many years, taking produce to the Buffalo wholesale market.
    He was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church at North Ridge, Cambria, and the Newfane Golden Agers.
    His wife, Edna Zahno Schultz, died in 1997.
    Survivors include two sons, Gary and Marvin; two sisters, Eleanor Eckert of Burt and Mildred Hurtgam; two brothers, Willard of Wilson and Carlton of Newfane; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
    Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 4169 Church Road, Cambria. Burial will be in North Ridge Cemetery,

    Edna G. Schultz, 86, died Monday (Feb. 3, 1997) in her Porter Center Road home after a long illness.
    Born in Porter, the former Edna Zahno lived in Ransomville for the past 54 years.
    Mrs. Schultz was a member of the Newfane Golden Agers and St. Peter's Lutheran Church at North Ridge in Cambria.
    She enjoyed quilting.
    Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Wallace F.; two sons, Gary and Marvin; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
    A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in St. Peter's Lutheran Church at North Ridge, 4169 Church Road, Cambria. Burial will be in North Ridge Cemetery, Cambria.

    The marriage of Miss Edna Zahno,
    daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank
    Zahno, to Wallace Schultz, son of Mr.
    and Mrs. Fred Schultz, took place
    Thursday afternoon at the home of
    the bride's parents. Rev. J. P. Barkow
    performed the ceremony. They
    were attended by Miss Garnet Demmin
    and Thomas Zahno.
    The bride wore a gown of white
    satin with lace ° trimming carrying
    roses and baby breath. Her attendant
    wore blue silk crepe And carried
    pink roses abd sweet peas. The house
    was decoratea throughout in pink and
    white garden flowers.
    Dinner was served to 45 guests at
    5: o'clock. The bride's table was centered
    with pink and white peonies.
    Guests were present from Niagara
    Falls, Wilson and Ransomville.
    Prernuptlals were: a variety shower,
    given by Mrs. Jacob: Wagner;
    kitchen shower, by Mrs. Augusta Perry,
    and variety shower, by Mrs. Fred
    Schultz and Mrs. Paul Bofihstadt.
