    SCHWEITZER - Leontine Peu-
    quet Schweitzer. 71, of 299 Adam
    St., Tonawanda, Monday (Jan 9,
    1956) in her residence after a long
    illness. Born in Tonawanda, Mrs.
    Schweitzer was a lifelong resident
    of the city. She was a member of
    St. Francis Church, the Altar So-
    ciety of the church, and the Ken-
    more Mercy Hospital Guild. Her
    husband, the late Frank H.
    Schweitzer, died in October of 1955.
    She is survived by one daugh-
    ter, Mrs. Roland Rice; five sons,
    Dr. Alvin J., Francis G., John
    H., Leo J. and James E.
    Schweitzer, all of the Tonawan-
    das; three sisters, Mrs. Ida Batt
    and Mrs. Frances Farrell of Ton-
    awanda, and Mrs. Clara Bayne
    of Niagara Falls, N.Y., and one
    brother, Henry Peuquet of Buffalo.
    Friends may call at the Hamp
    Funeral Home, 37 Adam St., Ton-
    awanda, where services will be at
    8:30 a.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. in
    St. Francis Church with the Rev.
    Wilbur Yaeger officiating. Burial
    in Mt. Oliver Cemetery.
