    NASHUA, NH — James D. Bugenhagen, of Nashua, NH, died at his home Friday, April 23, 2010, after a brief illness. Born in Lockport on July 5, 1953, he was the son of Raymond Bugenhagen of Lockport and the late Mary (Connor) Bugenhagen. He was a graduate of Lockport High School, Class of 1971. Jim resided in Londonberry, NH for several years before moving to Masua, and had been employed as a driver with Eastern Propane & Oil of Hudson for over 20 years. He loved his family and friends and will be remembered for his kindness to others. Jim enjoyed barbecuing, fishing, playing his guitar, loved football and was a huge New England Patriots' fan, and loved animals, especially his dog, Maggie.

    Besides his father, Jim is also survived by his wife, Jenny Harris Bugenhagen, with whom he shared 14 years; father of James (Laura) Bugenhagen, Jr., Michael (Denise) Bugenhagen and Katie Bugenhagen; step-father of Michelle Stover; grandfather of Emily, Jack and Kyrah Bugenhagen; brother of Molly (John) Fachko, Judy (Michael) Mack, Maureen Connolly and Laurie Bugenhagen; also several nieces and nephews.

    Relatives and friends may call Monday, September 10th from 4-7 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. A memorial Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, September 11th, at 10 AM in St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, 168 Chestnut St., Lockport.     Obituary of Raymond Bugenhagen

    Raymond Bugenhagen of Lockport passed away on May 5, 2022 at the age of 96 years.  He was born on October 5, 1925 in Lockport to the late Herman and Lydia (Dewitz) Bugenhagen.  Ray served in the US Navy during WW II from 1943-1946 and was a signalman 2nd Class aboard the USS LSM 532.  He earned his graduate degree from GMI, Flint, Michigan in 1952, retiring as a Superintendent of Industrial Engineering for Harrison Radiator, GMC  in 1983.  Ray was an active volunteer at ENH – Lockport site for several years and was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox.
    He was predeceased by his wife, Mary Virginia (Connor) Bugenhagen in 2012, his son James in 2010, also sisters Marguerite Wendel, Marian Luskey, Frances Conlin, and brother Emory Bugenhagen.
    Ray is survived by his daughters Molly (John) Fachko, Judith (Michael) Mack, twin daughters Laurie Bugenhagen and Maureen (the late Leonard) Connolly; six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
    Relatives and friends are invited to a Memorial Mass Wednesday, May 11th at 10 AM to be celebrated in St. John the Baptist RC Church, 168 Chestnut St., Lockport.  Donations to a charity of one’s choice would be appreciated.  Visit pruddenandkandt.com.

    LOCKPORT — Mary C. Bugenhagen passed away September 5, 2012 in Odd Fellow & Rebekah Rehab & Health Care Center. Born March 3, 1929 in Lockport, she was the daughter of Raymond and Blanche (James) Connor. Mary was an active member of the Hospital Guild and the PTA at Washington Hunt Elementary.

    Mary is survived by her husband, Raymond Bugenhagen of Lockport; mother of Molly (John) Fachko of Lancaster, Judith (Michael) Mack, twin daughters, Laurie Bugenhagen and Maureen Connolly, all of Lockport, and the late James Bugenhagen; mother-in-law of Jenny Harris; grandmother of Megan (John) Ciarfella, Melcher (Susan) Mack, James (Laura) Bugenhagen, Michael Bugenhagen, Katie Bugenhagen, Claire Connolly-Seveno (Nicholas) and Michelle Harris; great- grandmother of seven; sister of William Connor of Florida, Kenneth (Betty) Connor of Lockport, and the late Raymond Connor; several nieces and nephews.

    LOCKPORT - A retired bank custodian, Herman F. Bugenhagen, 84, of 223 Waterman St., died Wednesday afternoon (Jan. 13, 1965) at his home. He had been ill one year. Born Jun 18, 1880 in Clarence Center, the son of Theodore and Louisa Brunning Bugenhagen, he has lived here 60 years. He was formerly employed at the united Board and Carton Co. here for 15 years and later worked as custodian
    of the Lohrman Building for five years. He was employed as custodian at the Niagara County bank office of the Marine Trust Co. of Western New York for 30 years before his retirement 10 years ago. He was a member of the First English Lutheran Church of Lockport. He and his wife, Lydia Dewitz Bugenhagen, were married Nov. 29, 1922, in Buffalo. Besides his wife he is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Howard Wendel and Mrs. Harold Conlin, both of Lockport, and Mrs. Arnold Luskey. Middleport; two sons, Emory F. and Raymond H. Bugenhagen,
    both of Lockport a sister, Mrs. Marvin Raquet, Clarence Center; two brothers Fred Bugenhagen, Lockport. and Edward Bugenhagen, North Tonawanda; 12 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Lange Funeral Home where the family will be present from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A service
    will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday by Rev. Harry D. Hawthorne, pastor of the First English Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Clarence Center
