    Wears Heirloom Necklace
    White gladioli and chrysanthemums were decorations in
    the rectory of St. Francis of Assisi Church Aug. 16 when
    Miss Janice Katherine Jacobi became the bride of Robert
    Charles Koch.
    The Rt. Rev. John A. Weismantel officiated at the
    double ring ceremony uniting the daughter of Mr. and Mrs*
    Francis J. Jacobi and the son of Mrs. Augustus Koch and
    the late* Mr. Koch
    The bride, given in marriage by
    her father, chose a ballerina length
    dress of white chantilly lace over
    taffeta. Her fitted' bodice was
    fashioned with long pointed sleeves
    and a portrait neckline with
    scalloped edge. Her full lace skirt
    featured a scalloped hemline. A
    tired veil of French illusion, with
    a scalloped edge, was held by a
    matching bonnet trimmed with
    lace, irredescent sequins and
    pearls.
    For her something old, the bride

    wore a platinum, diamond and
    pearl lavellier belonging to her
    late maternal grandmother. She
    carried a crescent bouquet of
    white roses, chrysanthemums and
    stephanotis with streamers.
    Miss Irene Pietak, maid of honor
    and the bride's only attendant was
    dressed in aqua lace and net, featuring
    an off-the-shoulder neckline
    and fitted bodice. Her full net skirt
    was ankle length with a side overdrape
    of lace. She carried pink
    roses.
    Chester Martin attended the
    bridegroom as best man.
    For her daughters wedding Mrs.
    Jacobi chose an aqua dress with
    black velvet accessories. The
    bridegroom's mother favored a
    black and white silk print dress
    with b l a c k velvet accessories.
    Both mothers wore pink glamelia
    corsages. Mrs. Augusta
    Koch, the bridegroom's grandmother
    selected a black crepe
    dress, black accessories and wore
    a corsage of pink roses and white
    chrysanthemums.
    An evening reception was given
    in American Legion Hall, Post 264
    The, buffet table was centered
    the traditional wedding cake, tall
    white tapers, bridal bouquets and

    garden flowers.
    For traveling through New York,
    Pennsylvania and Virginia, the
    bride wore a navy blue faille suit
    with red and white accessories.
    Shower hostesses were the office
    girls of National Grinding Wheel
    Co., Inc., Miss Irene Pietak; Mrs.
    Emanuel C. Jacobi and Mrs. Dud-
    ley J. DeMunn, Miss Helen Koch
    and Mrs. Jack Still and Miss Esth-
    er Jacobi and Mrs. Joseph Orto-
    lani.
    Mr. and Mrs. Robert C. Koch
    are now at home in 304 Schenck
    St.
