    Marilyn Ann (nee Batt) Adams, age 89, of North Tonawanda, at the Beechwood Wells House. Marilyn was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Parish. Marilyn retired from Seneca Blueprint where she was the Manager. She previously worked for Remington-Rand. Her family (the Batt Family) were active in North Tonawandas history. They were founders and builders of Ascension R.C. Church, St. Francis R.C. Church and Sts. Peter and Paul R.C. Church in Amherst. They owned a lumber mill, grinding mill and were also in banking. Locally they were the owners of the now Crazy Jakes Building which was a local hardware store. Daughter of the late James and Josephine Batt. Sister of the late Melvile Batt and Vernon Batt.

    Beloved mother of David (Cindy) Adams of North Tonawanda, Deborah (Donald) Gordon of the Town of Tonawanda and Diane (Gene) Boney of Indian Trail, NC. Proud grandmother of Jason Adams and Taren ("T.J.") Phillips. Great-grandmother of Anthony Zummo, Quinn, Maeve and Norah Phillips. Also survived by two nephews.

    Friends received by the family on Sunday from 4-8 PM at the Brunner Funeral Home (692-3841), 156 Robinson Street, North Tonawanda. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 9:30 AM at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church. Entombment will follow at Acacia Park Cemetery.

    321 Miller St, died after a heart attack Saturday (Nov.
    29, 1958). He was stricken and died in his car after
    he had parked at the DeGraff Memorial Hospital parking
    lot.
    Mr Batt had driven- to the
    hospital to take his wife
    home after she had been released
    from DeGraff Memorial,
    where she earlier underwent
    an operation.
    A native of this city, he
    was employed by the Columbus
    McKinnon Chain Corp.
    for 20 yearn He was a member
    of St, Joseph's Church.
    Survivors Include his wife,
    Mrs,; Josephine Batt this
    city; two sons, Melville and

    NORTH TONAWANDA-Mrs. Josephine Schultz
    Batt. 80. of 321 Miller St., died Monday (Aug. 22, 1966)
    in De Graff Memorial Hospital after a six-week
    illness.
    She was a lifelong resident
    here and a member of St. Joseph's
    Church.
    Mrs. Batt was the widow of
    James E. Batt, who died in
    1958.
    Survivors include two sons,
    Melville and Vernon Batt,
    both of this city; a daughter,
    Mrs. John (Marilyn) Adams,
    this city; three sisters, Mrs.
    Lydia Smith and Mrs. Harold
    (Edna) Matthias, bolh of this
    city, and five grandchildren.
    Friends may call from 2 to
    4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Brunner
    Funeral Home, where
    prayers will be said at 9:30
    a.m. Thursday, to be followed
    by Requiem Mass at 10 in-
    St. Joseph's Church. Burial

    The marriage of Miss Josephine E.
    Schultz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
    August Schultz of 149 Keil street to
    Mr. James E. Batt of North Tonawanda
    was solemnized yesterday moaning
    at ten o'clock at the parsonage
    of the Ascension church, on Robinson
    street. The Rev. Thomas Gleason of
    Medina, performed the ceremony.
    Miss Edna Schultz, sister of t h e bride,
    was the maid-of-honor and Mr. Walter
    Batt, brother of the groom, was best
    nran. A reception was held at t he
    home of t h e bride. Covers were laid
    for twelve at the bride's table, which
    was centered with a mound of astors,
    ferns and smilax. Among the out of
    town guests present were Miss Ina
    B. Johnson of Auburn, N. Y., and Mr.
    and Mrs. Albert Moje and son Elmer
    of Mapleton, N. Y.
    Mr. and Mrs. Batt will make their
    home a; 149 Keil street.

    So far as can be learned by the
    family. Frank Batt. late of No. ??
    Goundry street, left no will, but
    keys were found this afternoon in
    the family home which are believed
    to be to a safe-deposit vault in a
    falo bank. Members of the family
    will go to Buffalo tomorrow morning
    to find out whether Mr. Batt has
    papers or a will in the vault.

    after a long illness. Born in Ger-
    many, she was the wife of the late
    August Schultz. She was a mem-

    Albert Smith, Mrs. James Batt,,
    Mrs. Albert Moje, Mrs. Agnes!
    Kropf, Mrs. Harold Mathews, of
    the Tonawandas, a brother Christ

    and 11 great-grandchildren.
    Services will be 2 p.m. Friday in
    Wattengel Funeral Home, 307 Oli-

    will officiate. Burial will be in
    Elmlawn Cemetery.

    old, died Saturday afternoon at
    the home of his daughter, Mrs.
    Henry Zeppendorf, 1334 Belling
    place. He came to America from
    Germany in his early boyhood
    and had resided in North Tonawanda
    since. He leaves two daughters,
    Mrs. Zeppendorf and Mrs.
    Frances Dexheimer; a son, .Alvin,
    North Tonawanda; Ave grandchildren;
    a brother, Christ J., Erie, Pa.
    and a sister, Mrs. Minnie Schultz,
    North Tonawanda. Rites will be
    held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock
    from the Zeppendorf home
    and at 2:30 o'clock from the St.
    Paul's Lutheran church. Rev. F.
    A. Hinners officiating. Interment
    will be in St. Paul's cemetery
