    Mrs. Josephine Hugoboom, 358

    Schenck St., announces that the
    marriage of her daughter, Rita
    Ardith, to Martin John Martensen
    of Chicago, Ill., took place Saturday,
    Oct 25 in Chicago. Rev.
    p. J. Cull of St. Genevieve's
    Roman Catholic Church, performed
    the ceremony before an altar
    decorated with white, yellow and
    bronze chrysanthemums and fern.
    The bride wore a grey suit with
    a bustle back, white crepe blouse
    trimmed with rose point lace, a
    grey imported felt Robin Hood
    style hat with a fuschia plume.
    Her accessories were honey colored
    alligator shoes, an alligator bag
    and brown kid gloves with cuffs
    of alligator. She wore a white
    orchid tied with white satin ribbon.
    The bridegroom's sister, Mrs.
    Robert Hayes, was the matron of
    honor. She was attired in a grey
    suit, dusty rose crepe blouse with
    bow trimmed neckline, black hat
    with dusty rose plume and black
    accessories. Her corsage was a
    natural colored orchid tied with
    orchid ribbon.
    Robert Hayes was the best man

    and the bridegroom's brother,
    Bernard Martensen, acted as altar
    boy.
    The bridegroom's mother chose
    a frock of black crepe with black
    net yoke trimmed with royal blue
    sequins, a black hat trimmed with
    feathers and black accessories. Her
    corsage was of roses and blue
    delphinium.
    A dinner, with covers for
    twelve, followed the ceremony at
    the Sheraton Hotel.
    The bride is a communicationist
    for American Airlines and in
    May was transferred from La-
    Guardia Field, New York to Chicago.
    The bridegroom was formerly
    station in New York as an
    executive for Atlantic and Pacific
    Airlines.
    Mr. and Mrs. Martensen are
    now at home in S. Drexel Blvd.,
    Chicago.

    This morning at 10:30 in the rectory
    of Ascension Church occurred t he
    marriage of Miss Josephine L. Batt,
    daughter of Mrs. Rosa L. Batt ot
    Goundry street, to Mr. Ray Hugoboom,
    Rev. J F. Kelley officiating. The
    bride wore a costume of tan taffeta
    and gorgette with georgette hat to
    match, and carried a corsage bouquet
    of white sweet peas Miss Grace J.
    Batt, sister of the bride was the maid
    of honor and wore blue satin with
    georgette trimmings, and carried a
    corsage bouquet of pink sweet peas.
    Mr August Koch was the best man
    A wedding breakfast at the home of.
    the bride, for the immediate families'
    followed the ceremony. After a short
    wedding journey. Mr. and Mrs. Hugo-
    goom will be at home in 252 Payne
    avenue.

    So far as can be learned by the
    family. Frank Batt. late of No. ??
    Goundry street, left no will, but
    keys were found this afternoon in
    the family home which are believed
    to be to a safe-deposit vault in a
    falo bank. Members of the family
    will go to Buffalo tomorrow morning
    to find out whether Mr. Batt has
    papers or a will in the vault.
