    Lewis P. Westcott, Jr.  of the Town of Cambria, NY, passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2019, in  Mt. St. Mary's Hospital, Lewiston, NY.   He was born in Niagara Falls, NY, on March 16, 1934, the son of the late Lewis P.  and Sarah [Lusted] Westcott.
    Mr. Westcott graduated from Trott Vocational High School. 
    He was employed as an electronic technician with Bell Aircraft, the New York State Power Authority,
    AMF, Kodak and Bell AeroSpace.
    Mr. Westcott enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing and working on his car.
    He is survived by his wife of 64 years Dolores A. [Batterson] Westcott, two daughters
    Lois (Philip) Reiter and Elaine (Greg) Brehm, two grandchildren LTJG Tyler  Brehm, USN
    and Lindsey  Brehm, one brother William Westcott and one sister Lucille Keiper, also many
    nieces and nephews.
    Mr. Westcott was the father of the late Paul L. Westcott and brother of the late Sarah Townsend,
    Mildred Warren and Grace Swearengen.
    His family will be present on Monday from 2-5 & 7-9 at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME,
    5893 Hoover Road, SANBORN, NY, where funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 10:30 AM,
    with the Rev. Kurt D. Schultz officiating.
    Flowers are gratefully declined. Memorials may be made to St. Andrew Lutheran Church or
    to the Diabetes Association.
    Interment in Acacia Park Cemetery, Town of Pendleton, NY.

    Of the Town of Cambria, passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at her residence under the care of her family and Niagara Hospice.  She was born in Buffalo, NY,  on February 3, 1934, a daughter of the late Albert and Helen [Durand] Batterson.
    Dolores was an Avon Lady before becoming the accounts payable clerk with Conbow in Amherst for over 20 years before retiring.\
    She was the organist at Hope Lutheran Church for many years.
    Dolores enjoyed spending time with her family, doing needlework and crafts.
    She was the wife of 64 years to the late Lewis P. Westcott, Jr., who passed away on May 21, 2019.
    Dolores is survived by her daughters Lois (Philip) Reiter and Elaine (Greg) Brehm, two grandchildren LT Tyler  Brehm, USN and Lindsey  Brehm, a sister in law Dorothy Batterson,  also many nieces and nephews.
    She was the mother of the late Paul L. Westcott and sister of the late Albert (Marilyn), Gerald (Marilyn), Roy Batterson, Helen (Douglas) Bennion and Lois Batterson.
    Her family will be present on  Friday from 3-7 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, SANBORN, NY.
    Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10AM at St. Andrew Lutheran Church, 3229 Upper Mountain Road, Sanborn, NY, with the Rev. Kurt D. Schultz officiating.
    Flowers are gratefully declined. Memorials may be made to St. Andrew Lutheran Church or to Niagara Hospice.

    of Lake Road, Ransomville,
    an Olin Mathieson Chemical
    C o r p . employe since 1936,
    died Monday (April 23. 1962)
    at Memorial Hospital. He had
    been taken ill while at work
    and was pronounced dead on
    arrival at the hospital.
    A native of Buffalo, Mr.
    Batterson came to Niagara
    Falls about 1940 and lived
    here .for several years before
    moving to the Town of Niagara.
    He moved to Ransomville
    from the Town of Niagara
    five years ago.
    Surviving a r e his wife,

    Mr. and Mrs. Albert Batterson.
    Woodside drive. Town of Niagara,
    celebrated their twenty-fifth wedding
    anniversary Friday evening
    with more than 100 friends present.-
    at the Six Corners restaurant.
    The table was decorated with white
    wedding bells and centered with a
    large floral piece of spring flowers
    and fern. Mrs. Batterson. entered
    the dining room, on the arm of her
    husband, to the strains of Lohengrins
    Wedding March and they
    were seated at the head of t h e long,
    T-shaped table. Dancing and refreshments
    were enjoyed during the
    evening followed by a buffet supper
    served at the Batterson home
    for close friends. Glfts of silver
    were presented to the couple.
    One of the features of t h e evening
    was the arrival of their oldest
    son. Albert. Jr. of the U. S. Army,
    from Rome. N. Y , where h e Is s t a tioned,
    making their family of three
    sons and two daughters complete.
    Mrs Batterson was presented with
    a corsage of spring flowers.
