GARBUTT-Jay E. Garbutt entered
into rest on Thursday afternoon,
April 23, 1953 at the family
residence, 105 Chestnut Street. He
is survived by his wife, Dorothy
Baudendistel Garbutt, one daughter
and two sons. Joan Marie Garbutt,
John Garbutt and Robert
Garbutt of Lockport, New York
two sisters, Mrs. Merry C. Baes of
Antwerp, New York and Mrs.
Irene Johnson of Lyndonville. New
York. Remains reposing at the
Paul Reynolds Funeral Home, 46
East Avenue where services will be
held on Monday afternoon at. 2:30
p-m. Interment will be in Hart-
Jand Central Cemetery.

William Baudendistel died suddenly
on Wednesday evening, June 5th.
He is survived by his wife Elisabeth
Myers BaudendisteL Ave children
Helen, Dorothy, Florence, Frances
and Ruth Baudendistel, his parents,
Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Baudendistel,
three sisters. .Mrs. John Blake, Mrs.
George Yeager and Miss Cella Baudendistel,
all of Lockport.
The funeral will be held on Saturday
morning at 8:30 from the home,
of his parents, Mr- and Mrs. Theodore
Baudendistel. 193 South Transit St.
and 9 o'clock at St. Marys,Church.
The interment will be in St. Mary s
cemetery.

at the Joseph M. Kennedy
Funeral Home Inc., 122 Walnut
St. where the funeral will be
held Saturday, Dec. 26 at 8:30
a.m. and 9 a.m. at St. Mary's
Church. Interment in St. Mary's
Cemetery. Recitation of the
Rosary Thursday at 2 p.m.

Theodore Baudendistel, 73. died at
10:30 o'clock Monday night at the
home of his daughter, Mrs. Arthur
W. Karsten, Pisk road, town of
Pendleton. He had been in poor
health for some time. A few days
ago he contracted plural pneumonia
which resulted ln his death.
Bom in Ulm, Germany. Dec. 5,
1861, Mr. Baudendistel came to the
United States when 23 years old.
After two years in Buffalo he came
to Lockport where he made his home
hi South Transit street until about
one year ago. Prior to his retirement
in 1933 he was employed at
the Niagara Textile company.
Besides his daughter ln Pendleton,
he leaves a daughter, Mrs. John
Blake of this city; one brother Roman
Baudendistel of Lockport, three
sisters in Germany, 12 grandchildren
and three great grandchildren.
Services will be held Thursday
morning at 8:15 o'clock at the Karsten
home and at 9 o'clock at St.
Mary's church, this city. Burial will
be in St. Mary's cemetery.

Theodore married MANGOLD, Rufina about 1888. Rufina was born about 1868 in New York; died about 1909 in Lockport, Niagara County, NY. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
