Mrs. Elizabeth Blake, 71, of 18
Harvey Ave., died this morning
(Oct. 0, 1959) at Lockport Memorial
Hospital. She had been in
ill health for the past five years.
Born in Lockport June 1, 1888,
she was the daughter of Theodore
ami Rufina Mangold Baudendistet.
She was the widow of
John J. Blake, who died Oct.
1, 1945.
A member of St. Mary's Church,
she was also a member of the
Altar and Rosary Society of that
church.
Survivors include two daughters,
Mrs. Clair Salisbury and
Mrs. Raymond Hartman; three
sons, Albert, Harold and Ralph
Blake, all of Lockport; a sister,
Mrs. Arthur Karsten, Vista, Calif.,
and a grandchild.
Funeral services will be held
Monday morning at 8:30 at the
Taylor and Reynolds Funeral
Home, Niagara at N. Transit St.,
and at 9 from St. Mary's Church.
Burial will be In St. Patrick's
Cemetery.

5. BLAKE, Ralph T was born on 15 Oct 1918 in New York; died on 17 Sep 1992 in Lockport, Niagara County, NY.
6. BLAKE, Mary was born about Aug 1925 in Lockport, Niagara County, NY; died on 13 Aug 1925 in Lockport, Niagara County, NY.

Theodore Baudendistel, 73. died at
10:30 o'clock Monday night at the
home of his daughter, Mrs. Arthur
W. Karsten, Pisk road, town of
Pendleton. He had been in poor
health for some time. A few days
ago he contracted plural pneumonia
which resulted ln his death.
Bom in Ulm, Germany. Dec. 5,
1861, Mr. Baudendistel came to the
United States when 23 years old.
After two years in Buffalo he came
to Lockport where he made his home
hi South Transit street until about
one year ago. Prior to his retirement
in 1933 he was employed at
the Niagara Textile company.
Besides his daughter ln Pendleton,
he leaves a daughter, Mrs. John
Blake of this city; one brother Roman
Baudendistel of Lockport, three
sisters in Germany, 12 grandchildren
and three great grandchildren.
Services will be held Thursday
morning at 8:15 o'clock at the Karsten
home and at 9 o'clock at St.
Mary's church, this city. Burial will
be in St. Mary's cemetery.
