Mrs. Clara J. Johnston, 1 7 2
Corinthia St., died unexpectedly
at Lockport Memorial Hospital
Sunday (Feb. 19, 1961). She was
66 years old and a member of St.
Patrick's Church.
Mrs. Johnston was born April
14, 1894, in Lockport, the daughter
of Roman and Clair Mier Baudendistel.
She is survived by her husband,
Daniel F. Johnston: t w o
daughters, Mrs. Ralph D. Williams,
Batavia, and Mrs. George
Lennon. Lockport; two sons,
James H. Johnston and Daniel F.
Johnston Jr., Lockport; two sisters,
Mrs. Gertrude Singer, Miami,
Fla.; and Mrs. Richard Tomkinson,
Lockport; and three brothers,
Raymond Baudendistel, Lockport;
Theodore Baudendistel,
Chaffee; and Joseph Baudendistel,
California. Six grandchildren
also survive her.
Funeral services will be held
Wednesday morning at 8:30 at
the Taylor and Reynolds Funeral
Home, N. Transit St., and at 9 at
St. Patrick's Church. Burial will
be in St. Patrick's Cemetery.

Roman Baudendistel passed away
on Saturday morning, December
21st, 1946, at the family residence,
209 Saxton Street. He is survived by
his wife, Mary E., three daughters
and four sons, Mrs. Frederick Singer,
Mrs. Daniel Johnston, Mrs. Richard
Tompklnson, Raymond and Theodore
Baudendistel, of Lockport, Joseph
Baudendistel, of San Bernardino,
Calif, and Martin Baudendistel
of Ogden, Utah. The funeral will be
held st 8:30 o'clock on Monday
morning st Taylor & Reynolds Funeral
Home, Niagara at North Transit
Street, and at 9:00 o'clock st St.
Marys Church. Interment will be
to St. Mary's Cemetery
