of Tonawanda, N.Y.,
unexpectedly Wednesday
(August 29,1979).
A resident of Tonawanda
for the greater part of
her life she was the wife
of the late John Papp and
mother of the late Robert
J. Papp.
Mrs. Papp is survived
by her daughter, Mrs.
Ronald (Joan) Dorn of
the Town of Tonawanda;
a brother, Joseph

Baumgartner; three
sisters, Mrs. Barbara
Leber, Mrs. Anna
Biringer and Mrs. Paul
(Betty) Volansky, all of
the Tonawandas, aleo
surviving are five
grandchildren, Karen,
Kim and Kelley Dorn,
Mrs. Kenneth (Shelley)
Hess and Scott Papp and
many nieces and
nephews.
The family will be
present from 7-9 p.m.,
and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
Friday at the Hamp
Funeral Home, Inc.,
Adam and Seymour Sts.,
Tonawanda where
prayers will be said at
9:30 a.m., Saturday
followed by a Mass of
Christian Burial at 10
a.m. at St. Francis of
Assisi Church. Interment
Mount Olivet
Cemetery.

The marriage of Miss Lena
Baumgartner, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Anthony Baumgartner of is
Simson street to John Papp of
182 East street, Buffalo, was sol-
emized on Saturday morning, October
1, at nine o'clock in St.
Francis church, the Rev. John
A. Weismantel officiating. The
bride wore a gown of white bridal
satin, made princess style and
with long tight sleeves and
a double strand pearl necklace.
re long tulle veil was arranged
with a lace cap and caught with
clusters of orange blossoms and
she carried a shower bouquet of
white roses and baby breath tied
with white ribbon.
Miss Barbara Baumgartner, sister
of the bride, was maid of hon-
or. her gown being of baby blue
satin, made with short jacket and
elbow length puff sleeves. She
wore a blue picture hat, blue
moire slippers and long gloves
and her bouquet was of pink
roses, gladioli and baby breath,
tied with blue tulle ribbon.
Miss Lena Baumgartner, cousin
of the bride, was bridesmaid, her
town being of flesh pink satin,
made similarly to that worn by
the maid of honor, with which
she wore pink picture hat, pink
moire slippers and long gloves
and carried a bouquet of yellow
roses, gladioli and baby breath
tied with pink ribbon.
Mr. Nicholas Kifner of Buffalo
attended Mr. Papp as best man
and Nicholas Laube of Buffalo
was groomsman. The ushers were
Messrs. Joseph Baumgartner of
Tonawanda and Mr. Alex Choboy
of Buffalo.
Mrs. Baumgartner. mother of
the bride, wore a gown of brown
crepe. with hat and slippers to
match, and her corsage was of
pink roses. Mrs. Papp, the groom's
mother, chose a gown of figured
crepe and wore a corsage of
roses.
A wedding breakfast followed
the ceremony, covers being laid
ofr ten at the bride's table which
was decorated in yellow and white
and centered with a wedding cake
A reception for fifty guests was
given in the evening, several out
of town guests being present from
Buffalo.
Mr. and Mrs. Papp are making
their home in 13 Simson street.
