    The marriage of Miss Anna
    Baumgartner. daughter of Mr. and
    Mrs. Anthony Baumgartner of 13
    Simson street to Mr. Alex E.
    Choboy of Buffalo was solemnized
    this morning at nine o'clock in
    St. Francis church, the Rev. John
    A. Weismantel officiating.
    The bride wore a gown of beetroot
    red crepe with velvet trimming
    and a small hat of matching
    color felt. Her corsage bouquet
    was of sweetpeas. Miss Lena
    Baumgartner, sister of the bride,
    was brides maid, her gown being
    of brown crepe with which she
    wore a hat to match and a corsage
    of sweetpeas, Mr. John Papp of
    Buffalo attended Mr. Choboy as
    best man.
    Mr. and Mrs.. Choboy will make
    their home in Buffalo.

    N.Y., Monday (February
    7, 1977) after a brief
    illness. A resident of the
    Tonawandas for the
    greater part of his life, he
    was the husband of the
    l a t e M a g d a l e na
    Baumgartner and had
    been employed at
    Spaulding Fibre Co., for
    more than 40 years before
    retiring in 1957
    He is survived by his
    son, Joseph (Katherlne)
    Baumgartner; four
    daughters, Mrs. Lena
    Papp, Mrs. Barbara
    Leber, Mrs. Anna
    Blrlnger and Mrs. Paul
    (Betty) Volansky, all of
    the Tonawandas; two
    sisters, Mrs. Katherlne
    Keller and Mrs Christine
    Peterman, both of the
    Tonawandas; 12 grandchildren,
    29 great
    grandchildren and many
    nieces and nephews He
    was the grandfather of
    the late Robert J. Papp
    The family
    will be
    present from 7-9 p.m.
    Tuesday and from 2-4 and
    7-9 p.m. Wednesday at
    the Hamp Funeral Home,
    Inc., Adam and Seymour
    Sts., Tonawanda. A Mass
    of Christian Burial will be
    celebrated at 10 a.m.,
    Thursday at St. Francis
    of Assisi Church, the Rt.
    Rev. Ralph M. Miller
    officiating. Interment at
    Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

    Mr. and Mrs. Anthony
    Baumgartner, 1107 Ruie Rd.,
    married 50 years tomorrow,
    will celebrate the occasion
    on Saturday.
    At 9 a.m., the couple and members
    of their family will attend
    Mass in St. Francis Church with
    the Rev. Wilbur Yaeger officiating.
    At 2 p m. there will be a family
    dinner in Cleveland Hall and during
    the evening guests are invited
    to a reception in the haU.
    A golden theme and spring
    flowers will carry out the decora-
    tive motif for the event. A gift
    corsage will complement Mrs.
    Baumgartner's attire for the anni-
    versary and Mr. Baumgartner will
    wear a cornation boutonniere.
    Mr. Baumgartner, 73, and his
    wife, 68, are natives of Romania
    where they were married. They
    came to the United States in June
    1907, settling immediately in North
    Tonawanda.
    Mr. Baumgartner, now retired,
    worked for Spaulding Fibre Company
    approximately 28 years. He
    and his wife are members of St.
    Francis of Assisi Church where
    Mr. Baumgartner is a member of
    the Holy name Society and his
    wife a member of the Mothers'
    Club.
    Celebrating the anniversary with
    their parents will be their five
    children, Mrs. John Papp, Joseph
    Baumgartner, Mrs. Edward Le-
    ber, Mrs. Joseph Biringer and
    Mrs. Paul Volansky and their fam-
    ilies. The couple has 13 grandchildren
    and four great-grandchildren, who
    will join in the festivities. Joining
    will be the couple's friends, neigh-
    bors and relatives.
