John Baumgartner, 69, of 24
State St., died this morning in
DeGraff Memorial Hospital. Born
in Hungary, Mr. Baumgartner had
lived here since 1906. He is survived
by his wife, Lena, nee Kolb;
three sons, Joseph, Anthony and
Paul, all of the Tonawandas; three
daughters, Mrs. Frances Greaves,
Pomona, Cal.; Mrs. Ray Dinsmore,
Grand Island, Mrs. Walter Bronschidle,
Tonawanda; five grandchildren;
a brother, Anthony, of
Tonawanda; four sisters, Mrs.
Wendel Sitzka, Mrs. Martin Zipp,
Mrs. Fred Keller, Mrs. Michael
Peterman, all of the Tonawandas.
Services will be Saturday at 8:30
a. m. in Hamp Funeral Home, 37
Adam St., 9 a. m. in St. Francis
Church. The Rt. Rev. Msgr. John
A. Weismantel will officiate. Burial
will be in Mt. Olivet.
