    and Mrs. John (Emilia); Seyler;
    a brother, Romeo Bax; a
    sister, Mrs. Frank Jercitano,
    all of this city, and 19 grandchildren.
    Prayers will be. offered at
    8:45 a.m. Saturday at the M.. J.
    Coluccl Funeral Chapel and
    a Solemn High Mass held at
    Our Lady of Mount Carmel
    Church at 9:30 a.m. Burial
    will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
    The Sacred Heart Mother's
    Club will recite the Rosary at
    7 p.m. Friday at the funeral
    chapel.

    Mrs. Carmella Maria Bax
    75, of 1625 Hyde Park Blvd.
    died Friday'(May 14, 1965) in
    Mount St. Mary's Hospital
    after a long illness.
    She was born In Agnone,
    Italy, Sept. 19, 1889 and came
    to this city in 1914. She was a
    member of Our Lady of Mt.
    Carmol Church. Her husband,
    Alfred Bax, died in 1963.
    Survivors include three
    sons, Dr. A. L. Bax of Lewis-
    ton, Joseph Bax of this city,
    and Massimo Bax of Ransom-
    ville; three daughters, Mrs.
    Charles (Alice) Rice and Miss
    Helen Bax, both of this city,
    and Mrs. John (Emilia) Seyler,
    of the Town of Niagara; two
    sisters, Mrs. Romeo (Lena)
    Bax, of this city and Mrs.
    Elena Barthalamco of Italy;
    and 30 grandchildren.
    Services will be held Monday
    at 8:45 Am. at the M. J.
    Coluccl Funeral Chapel and
    at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel at
    9:30 a.m. Burial will be in St.
    Joseph's Cemetery.
    The Mothers' Club of Bish.
    op Duffy School and the Mothers
    Club of Sacred Heart
    Church will meet to recite the
    Rosary Sunday at 8:30 p.m. At
    the funeral home.
    Friends may call from 1 to 5
    and 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday And
    Sunday.

    Forty-eight persons lost their
    grandmother last nlghfc when Mrs.
    Lucia Bax, 88 years old, of 2318
    Twenty-fourth street, died in Mount
    St. Mary's hospital after a short illness.
    Tho aged woman who had lived
    in Niagara Falls since coming from
    Italy, Is also survived by four sons,
    three-daughters and 14 great- grandchildren.
    8he had a large number
    of friends throughout the east side
    of the city.
    Mrs. Bax's sons, Pardo. Leo. Alfred
    and Romeo, and one daughter,
    Mrs. Anthony Fracitano, all live in
    Niagara Falls. A daughter, Antonietta.
    resides In Italy, and the third
    daughter. Vlncensa, lives in South
    America.
    The funeral will be held from the
    family home at 8:15 o'clock Friday
    morning with services at St. Joseph's
    church,
