SANBORN - A three-year-old
Niagara Falls girl was drowned
in a swipiming pond it Jowdy's
Park, Church Street, Cambria,
during a family picnic Sunday
afternoon.
She was Tracey Beahen daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Philip Be-
ahen, SI2 Lincoln PL. Niagara
Falls. She is survived by nine
brothers and sisters.
Niagara County sheriff's deputies
said the parents discovered
the child missing when
they were preparing to eat. A
search was started and the
child's body was recovered
about a half-hour later by Donald
Eyerly, 7521 Wing Ct, Nia-
gara Falls, who immediately ad
ministered mouth - to mouth
breathing Deputy Barrell Highfield
a'.so said that Mrs. Betty
Kuopick, 4625 Woodward Ave.,
Town of Niagara, a nurses' aide
at Mount St. Mary's Hospital,
Have the child an external heart
massage.
Tiacey was rushed to Ran
somville General Hospital by the
Ransumville Fire Co, and given
oxygen en route but did not respond
and was pronounced dead
at the hospital. The body was
taken to the Cohlon Funeral
Home, Niagara Falls.
Deputy Highfield. said the
body was recovered in water
four to five feet deep. He said
the family had arrived for an
outing at 9:30 a.m. Sunday.

Tuesday (Aug. 18, 1964) _in
Buffalo after an eight-year
illness.
Mr. Beahen was born in
Kane, Pa., and had lived in
Niagara Falls for 35 years.
He is survived by three
sons, Montie Beahen Jr.,
Thomas. Beahen and Philip
Beahen, and two daughters,
Mrs. John Hotchkiss; and Mrs.
Irene Gabriel all of Niagara

Kline, of Buffalo, and

Mrs. .Martha E. Beahen, 56, of
450 Third St., died in her home
last night after having been invalided
for the last eight years as a result
of a stroke.
A lifelong resident of Niagara
Falls, she is survived by her husband,
Montic M. Beahen Sr., and
six children. They are Montie M.
Beahen Jr.. Philip G. Beahen, both
of this city: Thomas W. Beahen,
electrician third class, USN; Mrs.
John Hotchkiss, Mrs. Robert Norman
and Miss Irene R. Beahen, all
of this city. She also is survived
by two sisters, Mrs. Gertrude White
and Mrs. Grace Jaus, this city; a
brother, George Zeiger, Lockport,
and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at
1:30 p.m. Friday. Elder Clifford A.
Spilsbury officiating, at the Bell
Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in
Memorial Park Cemetery

George P, Zeiger, 65 years old, of
No. 468 Eighth street, died at his
home yesterday. He is survived by
three sons, Herman, George and
Phillip, three daughters, Mrs. Grace
Thomas, Mrs. Gertrude White, and
Mrs. Martha Beahen, all of this city,
three sisters, Mrs. Sophia Hilde-
brandt of La Salle, Mrs. Mary Wat-
tengale of this city, and Mrs. Mar-
garet Hildebrandt of Tonawanda, and
one brother Jacob Zeiger of La Salle.
The funeral will be held from the
family home Wednesday afternoon at
2:30 o'clock. The Rev. Herman Brez-
ing of the Zion Lutheran church will
officiate. The interment will be in
Whitemire cemetery.
