    ny, died yesterday morning
    in a Rome hospital after a
    brief illness.
    He was born June 12. 1882.
    In Rome, son of Anthony and
    Amelia Stimmer Beasock. In
    Rome 57 years ago,'he mar-
    ried'Margaret Holman, who
    died Oct. 28, 1957
    Mr. Beasock had resided in
    Oriskany for the past two
    years and in Tonawanda for
    two years prior to that.
    He leaves four daughters.
    Mrs. Earl Wilkes of Rome.
    Mrs. Hollie Baldwin of Chad-
    wicks, Mrs. William P Smith
    and Mrs. Arnold Buehler,
    both of Oriskany; four sons,
    Walter F., Arnold A., Howard
    J. and Willard J; all of Tona-
    wanda, 45 grandchildren, 30
    great grandchildren.
    The funeral will be at 8
    Monday from the Griffin &
    Aldridge Funeral Home, 209
    N. Washington St., and at 9:30
    from St. Stephen's Church,
    Oriskany, where a requiem
    Mass will be offered.
    Calling hours will be from
    2 to 4 and 7 to 9 today, to-
    morrow and Sunday at the
    funeral home.

    She was born Jan. 8, 1888,
    In -Oriskany, daughter of
    George and Anne Cluff Hol
    man. On Aug. 30, 1903, in
    St. Mary's rectory here, she
    was married to Francis J_
    Beasock.
    She had resided in Tonawanda
    for the past two years.
    Besides her husband, she
    leaves four daughters, Mrs.
    Earl Wilkes of Rome, Mrs
    William F. Smith and Mrs.
    Arnold Bueler, both of Orisk
    any, Mrs. Hollie Baldwin of
    Chadwicks; four sons, Walter
    F., Arnold A., Howard J. and
    Willard J. Beasock, all of
    Tonawanda; a sister, Mrs.
    John O'Neil of Oriskany; a
    brother, William Holman of
    Forestport; 45 grandchildren;
    25 great-grandchildren.
    The funeral will be at 3:30
    tomorrow from the Griffin &
    Aldridge Funeral Home. Burial
    will be in the Oriskany
    Cemetery.

    The marriage of Francis Beasock aud
    Miss Margaret Holman, daughter of Mr.
    and Mrs. George Holman, occurred at
    the parochial residence of St Mary's
    Church, at 4:30 p.m. Monday. Rev.
    M. Rieger, pastor, officiated. The bridal
    couple were attended by Miss Effie
    Ross and Joseph Beasock, the latter a
    cousin of the groom. The bride and her
    maid were attired in blue cashmere, the
    former carrying bridal roses and the
    latter white china asters. They did not
    go on a trip, but at once took up their
    residence at 233 Fast Whitesboro street,
    where a reception was held in the evening.
    The groom is employed in the
    Merchant Iron Mill.

    At his -home, 216 Lynch street, at
    10:55 o'clock this forenoon, occurred
    the death of Anthony 'Beasock, aged
    67. He had been in failing health
    lor the past three years. While employed
    in the Rome Locomotive &
    Machine Works, 14 years ago he suffer-
    ed the loss of an eye and throe
    years ago he lost the sight of the
    other. He was born in Germany and
    came to Rome 25 years ago and resided
    here since that' time. He resided
    in Scranton before coming here.
    He was a metal worker and his last
    employment was as a heater in the
    Rome Iron Mills. In this city in
    1871 he was married to Amelia Steimer
    who survives. He also leaves one
    son, Francis J., at home, one sister,
    Mrs. Theresa Martin of Brooklyn, a
    half-sister Mrs. Kate Elliott of Valley
    Mills, R. I., and a brother William of
    Belleville, Canada. Mr. Beasock was
    a, member of St. Mary's Church.

    Anthony married STEIMER, Amelia about 1871 in Rome, Oneida County, NY. Amelia (daughter of STEIMER, Elias and Julia) was born on 8 Sep 1854 in New York; died on 12 Jan 1931 in Rome, Oneida County, NY. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

    Mrs. Amelia Beasock. R. F. D. 1,
    Turin road, passed away early this
    morning in a local hospital. Mrs.
    Beasock was born in Elmira Sept.
    8. 1854, a daughter of the late Eliza
    and Julia Stenner She had been a
    resident of this city since early
    childhood. She was a member of
    St. Mary's Church.
    Surviving are a son Francis,
    eight grandchildren, six greatgrandchildren
    and two nieces, all
    of Rome.
