Funeral services for Charles Maris, 80, who had
been a frequent visitor to Niagara Falls and stepfather
to five children in this area were held Saturday
at First Baptist Church, Lucerne Valley, Calif.
Mr. Maris died at a Victor-
ville, Calif., nursing home after
suffering an apparent
heart attack.
He was the widower of Mrs.
Pauline. Becker Maris, formerly
a resident of this city.
Surviving are five stepchildren,
Mrs. John Williams,
Mrs. James Overhiser, Mrs.
Francis Johnson, all of this
city, and Mrs. Donald Brown
and Arnold Becker, Lewiston.
Other survivors include a son
and daughter, living In California
and daughter in New
Hampshire.
