    The Rev. Norman Lux performed
    the ceremony for the
    daughter of the late Mr. and
    Mrs. George H. Beckett and the
    son of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh S.
    Henderson of 88 Main St., Tonawanda.
    Given in marriage by her
    uncle, Hyrum Hayes, the bride
    wore a gown of antique satin
    designed with a circlet neckline
    and long sleeves. Alencon lace
    accented the Empire waist. A
    matching sleeveless coat extended
    into a chapel length train.
    Her silk illusion veil was caught
    to a circles of orange blossoms
    and she carried a crescentshaped
    bouquet of orchids and
    roses.
    Miss Mary Jo Berg, maid of
    honor, was attired in a shrimp
    color crepe sheath styled with a
    Grecian draped bodice. A white
    fur muff and headpiece adorned
    with shrimp color roses completed
    her ensemble.
    Gerald Brown was best man.
    David Beckett, the bride's
    brother, and Kenneth Prohn, the
    bridegroom's nephew, ushered.
    After a trip to Canada, the
    couple will make their home in
    11 Oliver St., North Tonawanda.

    Delores (nee Doebler) Beckett, 44, of 141 Delton Street, Tonawanda, died Tues July 23rd 1957 in the E J Meyer Memorial Hospital in Buffalo after a brief illness. Born in North Tonawanda, Mrs Beckett resided for the greater part of her life in Tonawanda. She was a member of St Francis Church and the Mothers Club of St Francis School. Her husband the late George Beckett died in Aug of 1952. She is survived by five daughters, Mrs Richard Barth of Buffalo and the Misses, Mary Louise, Judith Rose, Kathleen Marie and Carol Theresa Beckett and four sons, John J, George R, David J and James E Beckett all of Tonawanda, a granddaughter, Deborah Lynn Barth of Buffalo, her mother Mrs Louise Doebler, a sister Mrs Hyrum Hayes and a brother Lavern Doebler all of the Tonawanda's and another brother, Wilbert Doebler of Wilson, NY. Friends may call at the Hamp Funeral home, 37 Adam St Tonawanda where a service will be held at 9:30 am Friday followed by a Requiem High Mass at St Francis Church at 10:00 am. The Rev Wilbur Yeager will officiate, Burial in Mt Olivet Cemetery.

    NORTH RIDGE, Nov. 9-A pretty
    Fall wedding was solemnized at
    11 o'clock on Saturday morning,
    November 2, at Sacred Heart church
    in Niagara Falls, N. Y., when Miss
    Delores Bertha Doebler, daughter of
    Mrs. Louise Doebler of North Ridge,
    became the bride of George H.
    Beckett, son of Mr. and Mrs. David
    Beckett of Buffalo.
    The bride was charming in a becoming
    gown of brown crepe, with
    brown velvet turban and other
    brown accessories. She carried an
    arm bouquet of large yellow chrysanthemums
    tied with tulle.
    Mlas Marie Beckett, sister of the
    groom, was maid of honor, wearing
    green crepe with matching accessories,
    she also carried yellow chrysanthemums.
    Joe Reichlin attended
    the groom.
    Mrs. Doebler, mother of the bride.
    wore brown crepe with pink trimming,
    and Mrs. Beckett's gown was
    her of green crepe.
    A wedding dinner was served at
    the home of the bride at North
    Ridge to nineteen guests. Twelce
    were seated at the prettily appoint-
    ed bride's table while the others
    were seated at smaller tables.
    Among the dinner guests were

    Edward A. Doebler, 42 years old, a former resident of North Tonawanda, died today at his home on North Ridge road. He had lived at North Ridge Road for the past ten years. He is survived by a wife Louise; two sons, Wilbur and Verne; two daughters, Delores and Iverna all of North Ridge, and three brothers, Gustave C., Charles A., and Herman, all of North Tonawanda. The funeral will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the residence and half an hour later at the Evangelical Lutheran Church in North Ridge. Rev. John Barkow will conduct the services and interment will be in the North Ridge cemetery.

    Lee – Louise W. Doebler Lee (nee Pankow), 85, of North Tonawanda, Friday (Nov 21, 1975) in Port Orange, FL. Mrs. Lee was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church, the Senior Citizens of North Tonawanda and was a resident of North Tonawanda for the greater part of her life.
    Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Hyrum (Dollie) Hayes of Port Orange, Fla.; 16 grand children; 26 great grand children. She was the mother of the late Doloris Beckett, Wilbert Doebler and LaVern Doebler.
    Family will receive friends at Fretthold Funeral Home, Inc., 1241 Oliver St. corner Ward Rd., North Tonawanda today 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be held at the funeral home Tuesday at 10:30 a.m., the Rev. A.W. Moldenhauer will officiate, interment in St. Peter Lutheran Cemetery, North Ridge, N.Y. If desired memorials may be made to St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church Building Fund.
