    Genevieve E. Jenny Beczkowski, age 97, of Wilson, died on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 in the Newfane Rehabilitation & Health Care Center after a long illness. Jenny was born on November 5, 1915 in Niagara Falls, NY, the daughter of the late Paul and Mary (Kordos) Banas and has lived in Wilson since 1952.
    She worked at Carborundum Co. for nearly 20 years, then at the Wilson High School Cafeteria followed by working in the kitchen at Niagara Frontier Country Club retiring in 1980. Jenny was a member of the Wilson and Newfane Senior Citizens.
    She was predeceased by her husband, Stanley J. Whitey Beczkowski in 2012 and is survived by her daughters, Joyce Nicholas, Cathy (Gary) Burns, and Laurie Beczkowski; her grandchildren, Len and Joyce Nicholas, Adrian, Owen, Brandon, and Morgan Burns; a sister, Emily Latko. She was predeceased by three brothers, Joseph, Chester, and Edward Banas.
    A Celebration of Jenny's Life will be held on Saturday, July 16th at 2:30 PM in HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville. There will be no prior visitation. Flowers are gratefully declined. Memorials may be made to the Wilson Volunteer Fire Co. No. 1 Ambulance Fund, P.O. Box 609, 250 Young St., Wilson, NY 14172-0609.
