    Miss Berniece Ethel Duchow
    and Roger Allan Raff
    were united in marirage at
    St. Michael's Lutheran
    Church, Wolcottsville, Saturday.
    Aug. 21, 1965 by the
    Rev. Hilbert Huth.
    Exchanging nuptial vows
    were the daughter of Mr.
    and Mrs. Elwood Duchow of
    Graham Road, Middlepon,
    and the son of Mr. and Mrs.
    Herbert Raff of East Avenue;
    Gaaport.
    Given in marriage by her
    father, the bride chose a
    foil - length gown of silk organza,
    enhanced with Jeweled
    Chantilly lace. The fitted
    bodice was designed
    with a sabrina neckline and
    long tapered sleeves and a
    bouffant skirt edged in
    matching lace, terminated
    in a chapel ° length train.
    A crown of pearlized orange
    blossoms held her veil of
    French illusion and she carried
    a cascade bouquet of
    white carnations.
    Mrs. Roger Johnson was
    her sister's honor attendant
    in a street - length gown
    of gold mist taffeta. She
    completed her ensemble
    with a floor - length bouffant
    overskirt and a matching
    headpiece.
    Wearing similar gowns
    but in aqua, were the attendants.
    Miss Sharon Eick,
    Miss Audrey Bisher, Miss
    Rita Buncy and Miss Janice
    Kimmick.
    Richard Raff attended as
    his brother's best man. Ushers
    were Kenneth Raff, William
    Buncy, Roger Johnson
    and Ralph Hill.
    Brenda Bedford, attired
    in a gown of white lace, was
    flower girl. Toby Manfield
    bore the rings.
    Following the reception
    held at the Middle-port Recreation
    Hall, the couple left
    for a brief motor trip. They
    wiH return to make their
    home at 7716 Rochester
    Road, Gasport.

    passed away Thursday
    (Aug. 22, 1968) at the Medina
    Memorial Hospital, He is survived
    by one son, Elwood W.
    Duchow of Middleport; two
    granddaughters, Mrs. Roger
    (Ruth) Johnson of Gasport,
    Mrs. Roger (Berniece) Raff of
    Middleport and one greatgrandson;
    two brothers, Frank
    of Lockport, Charles of Middleport,
    and several nieces and
    nephews. Friends may call Friday
    and Saturday from 2-4 and
    7-9 at the Wallace & Heath Funeral
    Home Inc., Middleport,
    where funeral services will be
    held Sunday afternoon at 2
    o'clock, with the Rev. Hilbert
    Huth officiating. Burial in Royalton
    Mountain Ridge Cemetery.

    MIDDLEPORT - A lifelong
    resident of the Town of Royalton,
    Mrs. Amanda Duchow, 64, wife
    of William F. Duchow, died this
    morning (April 3, 1963) at her
    home on Lewiston Road.
    She was born June 12, 1896 in
    the Town of Royalton, the daughter
    of William and Christine Hoffmeister.
    She was a member of St
    Michaels Lutheran Church, Wolcottsville
    Besides her husband, she is survived
    by a son, Elwood Duchow
    of Middleport; two granddaughters,
    Ruth and Berniece Duchow;
    a sister, Mrs. Anna Schilling of
    Middleport and several nieces and
    nephews.
    Friends may call from 2 to 4
    and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Wallace and
    Heath Funeral Home Inc., State
    Street, Middleport, where funeral
    services will be held Friday at 2
    p.m. The Rev. Hilbert Huth of St.
    Michaels Church will officiate.
    Burial will be in Royalton Mountain
    Ridge Cemetery.

    died at her home today (April
    3, 1963).
    Mrs. Duchow was born June
    12, 1898 in the Town of Royal-
    ton, the daughter of William
    and Christine Hoffmeister
    Smith. She was a member of
    St. Michael's Lutheran
    Church, Wolcottsville.
    She is survived by her hus-
    band, William F. Duchow; one
    son, Elwood Duchow, of Mid-
    dleport; one sister, Mrs. Anna
    Schilling, of Middleport and
    two grandchildren.
    Services will be held at the
    Wallace and Heath Funeral
    Home, Friday, at 2 p.m. Rev.
    Hilbert Huth, pastor of St.
    Michael's Lutheran Church,
    will officiate. Buriall will be
    in Royalton Ridge Cemetery,
    in Royalton Mountain Ridge
    Cemetery.

    A Royalton farmer, Clarence Bedford,
    collapsed and died Friday
    noon while doing chores on h i s
    farm in the Riddle Road. He would
    have been 58 years old on Feb. 22.
    Born in Royalton. son of Mr. and

    Mrs. Calvin Bedford, he farmed
    there most of his life. At one time
    he was employed by the Trico Windshield
    Company in Buffalo and during
    World War II was employed
    by Harrison Radiator Division,
    General Motors Corporation.
    Surviving are a .daughter, M r s .
    Elwood Duchow. Town of Royalton:
    six sons, Roger, Lloyd. Howard and
    Clarence Jr., all of Royalton: Rus-
    sell, Town of Amherst and Carl,
    Town of Newfane. There are 19
    grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs.
    Charles Coulson and Mrs. John
    Heroy, both of this vicinity.
    Services will be held Monday at
    2 o'clock at the Gaul Funeral Home,
    263 East Ave., the Rev. Francis
    Feldman of the United Brethren
    Church at the Rapids officiating.
    Burial will be in Chestnut Ridge
    Cemetery.

    father, Ora Brewer of Royalton. The
    funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon
    at 2 o'clock at the home on Chestnut
    Ridge.
