    After a brief wedding trip, Mr

    He is survived by one son, Don-

    granddaughters, Miss Kathy
    Heroy of Philadelphia, Pa.,
    Mrs. Anthony (Diane) Renna of
    Lockport; one great-grandson,
    A. Stephan Renna of Lockport.
    Beginning Tuesday evening at
    7 p.m. friends may call at their
    convenience at the Lange Fu-
    neral Home, 186 East Ave.,
    Lockport, where funeral servic-
    es will be held on Thursday,
    Dec. 4, 1969, at 2 p.m. The fam-
    ily will be present from 2-4 and
    7-9 p.m. Interment in Huskey
    Cemetery.

    In ill health for some time, Mrs.
    Murtie B. Heroy. 73, of 40 Beattie
    Ave., died Sunday morning, (June
    1, 1958) in Lockport Memorial
    Hospital.
    Born April 27, 1885 in the Town
    of Newstead, Erie County, she was
    the daughter of the late Calvin and
    Elizabeth Fletcher Bedford, and
    the wife of John E. Heroy. a retired
    rural mail carrier. Mrs.
    Heroy was a member of the Ladies
    Auxiliary of the National
    Rural Carriers Assn. and a former
    member of the Block Methodist
    Church.
    A son. Donald, of Lockport, also
    a rural carrier survives.
    Friends may call from 2 to 4
    and 7 to 9 at the Prudden k Kandt
    Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St.,
    where funeral services will be conducted
    Wednesday afternoon at
    3 30 by the Rev. Ritchard E. Ly
    on. pastor of First Baptist Church.
    Burial wltt be in Chestnut Ridge
    Cemetery.

  1. 8.  HEROY, William was born in 1850 in Town of Hartland, Niagara County, NY (son of HEROY, Isaac); died on 24 Dec 1937 in Rapids, Town of Lockport, Niagara County, NY.

    Notes:

    William C. Heroy, retired miller, died at 4:30 o'clock this morning at his home in the Rapids. In his 88th year. He had been in failing health for the past two years.
    Mr. Heroy was born in the town of Hartland, son of Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Heroy but had lived in the Rapids since he was three years old. As a young man he learned the carpenter trade. Later he opened a custom feed and cider mill which he operated for 50 years.
    Surviving are one son, John E. Heroy, and a grandson, Donald Heroy, both of Lockport.
    Services will be held Sunday afternoon at 1 o'clock at the home. Burial will be in Stahler cemetery.

    Lockport. March 17.-Mrs. William
    Heroy, 72, of the Rapids, died suddenly
    at her home last night following
    a heart attack which she suffered
    while feeding chickens in the barn at
    the rear of the home. Mrs. Heroy
    was found unconscious on the floor
    of the barn by her husband when who
    failed to return to the house. A
    physician was summoned but she was
    dead before he could arrive. A eon,
    John Heroy. of Lockport, survives tho
    deceased besides tho husband.

    -
    Another of the old residents of this
    section was called away when Cal-
    vin Bedford passed on Saturday,
    April 14. Mr. Bedford had been ill
    but a short time. He leaves one son,
    Clarence of Akron, and two daugh-
    ters, Mrs. Charles Coulson of Rid-
    dle road and Mrs. John Heroy of
    Lockport.
