    unexpectedly Saturday. He
    was born July 1, 1961, in
    Medina, the son of Ralph and
    Elizabeth (Leffler) Bedford.
    He served in the U.S. Navy
    from 1980 until Sept. 1 of this
    year. He was a member of St.
    Peter's Evangelical Lutheran
    Church, Medina and had lived
    in the area all of his life. He
    was presently a mechanic at
    Chamber Bros, in Medina.
    Surviving are his wife, Mary
    L. Bedford; two children,
    Nicole Elizabeth Bedford and
    Wesley Carl Bedford Jr.; his
    parents, Ralph and Elizabeth
    Bedford 6f Medina; one
    brother and two sisters,
    Thomas Bedford of Medina;

    Lockport Memorial Hospital
    following a long illness.
    Mr. Leffler was born Jan. 7,
    1919, the son of John C. and
    Elizabeth Pogel Leffler of
    Middleport. He lived in Middleport
    until 13 years ago, when
    he moved to Lockport. He had
    worked for Simon Saw and
    Steel, Lockport for 23 years
    until retirement.
    Survivors include six

    A Royalton farmer, Clarence Bedford,
    collapsed and died Friday
    noon while doing chores on h i s
    farm in the Riddle Road. He would
    have been 58 years old on Feb. 22.
    Born in Royalton. son of Mr. and

    Mrs. Calvin Bedford, he farmed
    there most of his life. At one time
    he was employed by the Trico Windshield
    Company in Buffalo and during
    World War II was employed
    by Harrison Radiator Division,
    General Motors Corporation.
    Surviving are a .daughter, M r s .
    Elwood Duchow. Town of Royalton:
    six sons, Roger, Lloyd. Howard and
    Clarence Jr., all of Royalton: Rus-
    sell, Town of Amherst and Carl,
    Town of Newfane. There are 19
    grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs.
    Charles Coulson and Mrs. John
    Heroy, both of this vicinity.
    Services will be held Monday at
    2 o'clock at the Gaul Funeral Home,
    263 East Ave., the Rev. Francis
    Feldman of the United Brethren
    Church at the Rapids officiating.
    Burial will be in Chestnut Ridge
    Cemetery.

    Mrs Baehr Dies At 77
    MIDDLEPORT - Mrs. Helene Mietz Baehr, 77, of Wolcottsville, widow of Otto W. Baehr, died Sunday (Jan 31, 1960) at the home of her son, Herman B. Baehr, Lewiston Rd., where she had resided the last few months. She was born May 17, 1882, in Wolcottsville, a daughter of William and Marie Holtzheimer Mietz. She was a member of St. Michael's Lutheran Church, Wolcottsville, and had resided in this area all her life. In addition to her son, she is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Helene Gilbert. Middleport, Mrs. Hilda Bruning, Akron. N.Y.. and Mrs. John Leffler, West Shelby; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. A son, Otto R. Baehr. died several years ago. Friends may call at the Wallace & Heath Funeral Home from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm. Services will be held at 1;30 pm Wednesday at the funeral home and at 2:30 at St Michael's Church, Wolcottsville. The Rev. Hilbert Huth will officiate. Burial will be in St Michael's Cemetery.
