LOCKPORT, Aug. 16.-Mrs. Cora
Beebe Emerson, 26, a stepdaughter of
Superintendent of the Poor Charles W.
Walker and daughter of Mrs. Walker,
died today in a Buffalo hospital following
an operation. Mrs. Emerson was
born in Hartland and previous to her
marriage was a nurse in Buffalo. Besides
her husband and parents she is
survived by two sons, Thomas, three:
Richard, one; and one brother, Clyde
Beebe, of Buffalo.

William Beebe, 32 years of age, a
brakeman, was crushed between the
couplings of two freight cars in Lockport
yesterday and died a few minutes
after.

William married GOODMAN, Mattie about 1896. Mattie was born in Mar 1876 in New York; died on 13 Jul 1957 in Buffalo, Erie County, NY. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

WALKER - The funeral of the
late Mattie Walker was held at
2.00 o'clock on Saturday afternoon,
July 13, 1957, at Taylor &
Reynolds Funeral Home, the Rev
Darrell J. Westlake officiating.
The bearers were William Beebe.
David Beebe. Gordon Beebe, Malcolm
Walker, Daniel Sheehan
and William Sheehan. Interment
was in Hartland Central Cemetery.

ly of Ide Rd., Newfane, died
Wednesday (July 10, 1957) In a
Buffalo hospital, after a long illness.
She was the widow of Charles
Walker, former county welfare
commissioner.
Mrs. Walker was a native of
Hart land.
Surviving are five grandsons,
William C. Beebe, Boston, Mass.;
Gordon H. Beebe, Tonawanda; David
P. Beebe, Buffalo; Thomas L.
Emerson, Buffalo; and Richard P.
Emerson, California.
Services will be Saturday afternoon
at 2 In Taylor & Reynolds
Funeral Home, 70 Niagara St.
Burial will be in Hartland Central
Cemetery.
