    Waterville, former residents of this
    place, announce the engagement of
    their daughter, Miss Dorothy Beha,
    to Sergt. Walter J. Dunn, son of
    Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Dunn of Dur-
    hamville.
    The bride-to-be is a graduate of
    the Utica state Hospital and is en-
    gaged in private nursing in Brooklyn.
    Sergt. Dunn returned last week
    from Hawaii.

    9 o'clock Saturday morning in St.
    Bernard's Church, with the Rev. John
    L. Powers, pastor, officiating.
    Miss Mary T. Beha of Brooklyn, sister
    ot the bride, was bridesmaid and
    Harold G. Dunn, Durhamville, brother
    of the bridegroom, was best man. Sgt.
    Paul Mushala of state Bridge was
    usher.
    The bride wore a gown of powder
    blue with maroon accessories and.
    | a corsage of talisman roses. Her at-!
    tendant wore a cerise gown with
    brown accessories and a corsage of
    white roses.
    The bride's mother wore an orchid
    gown with dusty pink accessories and
    a corsage of pink roses, while the
    mother-of the bridegroom wore teal
    blue with wine accessories. Her'corsage
    was of yellow roses.
    A wedding breakfast and reception
    in the home of the bride's parents foH
    lowed the ceremony.
    The bride is a graduate ot Utlca
    State Hospital and is .a registered
    nurse. The groom is a graduate of
    Oneida High School and was a machine
    operator prior to entering the
    armed forces.
    The bride and groom left for a wedding
    trip to Colombia, S. C. .

    WHTESBORO - Ambrose L.
    Beha, 85, of 48 Green Acres
    Drive and formerly of Waterville,
    died yesterday in St.
    Elizabeth Hospital after a short
    illness. He was born in West
    Leyden.
    He married Emma Seiter in
    1914. She died in 1946.
    He had taught school in Point
    Rock, Camden and Florence
    and later worked as a carpenter.
    He later taught speech
    in Children's Hospital, Utica
    for 10 years.
    He was known as the Rosary
    Man for the many rosarys he
    made. He was a member of St.
    Francis Church of Oneida, St.
    Bernard's Church of Waterville
    and St. Anne's of Utica.
    He is survived by three sons,
    John of Onario, N.Y., Donald of
    Utica and Joseph Beha of
    Waterville; four daughters,
    Mrs. Raymond (Cecelia)
    Roldan of Sparta, N.J.," Mrs.
    Walter (Dorothy) Dunn of
    "Oneida, Mrs Mary Cravotta of
    Whitesboro with whom he bad
    resided and Mrs. Bertha
    Rowley of Waterville; three
    brothers, Raymond and
    William of West Leyden and
    Henry Beha of Columbus, Ohio
    and a sister, Mrs. Theresa
    Nabor of Seattle.
    The funeral will be at 10
    Thursday from the Harry
    Northrop Jr. Funeral Home~and
    -at 10:30 from St. Bernard's
    Church. Waterville. Burial will
    be in St. Bernard's Cemetery.
    Waterville, in the spring.
    Calling hours are 7 to 9 tonight
    and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 tomorrow

    wife of Ambrose L. Beha, died
    Sept. 13, 1946 at her home in Ber-
    rill Ave. after a long illness.
    She was born in West Leyden
    Dec. 25, 1890, daughter of the late
    John and Theresa Nellenback Seit-
    er and was married in Syracuse,
    Aug. 12, 1914.
    Since 1939, she had been a resi-
    dent of Waterville, moving here
    from Deansboro. Mrs. Beha was
    a member of St. Bernard's Church
    and of its affiliated Altar and
    Rosary Societies.
    Surviving besides her husband
    are three sons, John S. Beha, Pitt; Mrs. Walter Dunns-
    ford, and Donald A. and Joseph R.
    Beha of Waterville; four daugh-
    ters, Mrs. Raymond Rolden, the
    Bronx, Mrs. Walter Dunn, Oneida;
    Miss Mary T. Beha, Brooklyn, and
    Miss Bertha F. Beha, Rochester,
    and three grandchildren.
    The funeral will be at 9:30 a.m.
    today from her home, and at 10
    o'clock from St. Bernard's Church.
    Interment will be in St. Bernard's
    Cemetery.

    WEST LEYDEN -- Mrs. Mary
    Kotary Beha, 84, widow of John
    Beha, died May 3, 1954 in sun-
    set Nursing Hospital, Constable-
    ville. She had been in ill health
    for the past year and seriously
    ill for one week.
    She was born near Weat Ley-
    den, March 14, 1870, daughter
    of Joseph and Adeline Seelman
    Kotary. She spent nearly all her
    life at West Leyden and attended
    local schools.. She also attended
    St. Michael's Sisters School at
    Mohawk Hill.
    She was married to John Beha
    on October 1, 1888, at St. Mi-
    chael's Church, Mohawk Hill, by
    the Rev. Joseph Welant. The
    couple purchased the Beha home-
    stead farm near West Leyden
    and lived there until 1920. In
    1923, they purchased their home
    in West Leyden village where
    they had sines lived.
    The couple celebrated their
    50th wedding anniversary on
    October 1, 1938. A High Mass
    was celebrated by the Rev. B. A.
    O'Connell at S t Mary's Church,
    West Leyden. On October 1, 1948,
    the couple celebrated their 60th
    wedding anniversary with an
    open house at their home here.
    Mr. Beha died Feb. 8, 1952
    Mrs. Beha was a communicant
    of St. Mary's Church, West Ley

    den, and a member of its Altar-
    Rosary Society. She was a gold
    star member of West Leyden
    Grange 620. She had held every
    office in th£ grange excepting
    master.
    Surviving are five sons. Ambrose
    L. Beha, Watervule; Henry
    F. Beha, Columbus, Ohio; James
    a. Beha, Mohawk, superintend-
    ent of Frankfort schools; Ray-
    mond G. and William J. Beha
    both of West Leyden; one adopt-
    ed daughter, Mrs. Theresa Na-
    bors, Seattle, Wash.; 19 grand-
    chidren, 35 great-grandchildren;
    one brother, Benjamin Kotary,
    Boonville; several nieces and
    nephews.
    The funeral will be at 9:15
    Thursday from the Trainor Fu-
    neral Home, Boonville, and at
    10 from St. Mary's Church, West
    Leyden, where a requiem high
    Mass will be celebrated by the
    Rev. Aloysius Isele. Burial will
    be in St. Mary's Cemetery, West
    Leyden.
