    Waterville -David Rowley,
    43, maintainance welder at
    the Rome Copper and Brass
    Co. in Rome, died yesterday
    in his home here after a short
    illness.
    He was born in Syracuse;
    Nov/ 8, 1916,. son of Ernest
    and Lulu Johnson Rowley. In
    June, 1952, he married Bertha
    Beha in St. Bernard's Church
    in this village. He .was a mem-
    ber of St. Bernard's Church
    and its Holly Name Society.
    He leaves his wife, three

    daughters, Patricia, Kathleen
    and Mary Margaret Rowley,
    all at home; his parents in
    Rochester; a brother, Charles
    Rowley of the" Army; three
    sisters, Mrs.,Ernestine Sassran,
    Mrs. Helen Bridge and
    Mrs. Dorothy Scherchel, all of
    Rochester.
    The funeral will be at 8:45
    Thursday from the Harry
    Northrup Jr: funeral Home,
    and at 9 from St. Bernard's
    Church with the Rt. Rev.
    Msgr John L. Powers officiating.
    Biinat-will be in St. Bernard's
    Cemetery in the spring.
    The Holy Name Society will
    meet at 8 P.M. tomorrow to
    recite the Rosary.

    Beha became the bride of David
    Rowley, son of Mr. and Mrs.
    Ernest Rowley of Rochester, Saturday,
    June 28, at 9:30 a. m. in
    St. Bernard's Church by the Rt.
    Rev. Msgr. John L Powers, who
    celebrated the nuptial Mass.
    Mrs. Bernard Shields of Yorkville,
    was matron of honor and the
    best man was Bernard Shields.
    The bride was attired in a navy
    blue sheer street dress with white
    accessories and a corsage of white
    roses.
    The matron of honor was similarly
    attired as the bride and
    wore a corsage of red roses.
    Following the ceremony the
    couple left on a wedding trip.
    The bride was graduated from
    Waterville Central School and St.
    Mary's School of Nursing at
    Rochester. She has been on nursing
    duty in the Rome City Hospital.
    The bridegroom graduated
    from a Rochester school and is
    employed at the Revere Brass and
    Copper Works, Rome.
