    and graduated from Constableville
    High School in
    the Class ol 1948. On September
    11. 1948. June
    was untted in marriage
    with Charles-E, Beha at
    St. Mary's Church, in Conslableville.
    After their, marriage,
    the couple settled on
    the Beha homestead farm,
    which the couple operated
    together from then until
    the 1970s. Alter that June
    was. employed for. several,
    years as. a nurse's aide at
    Sunset Nursing .Home in
    Boonville.
    Slie was a. member of St.'
    tarys. Church. West Leyden.
    and amember of the
    former West - Leyden
    Grange.
    Her greatest-joy in life
    came from being a loving
    and .caring wife. mother
    grand mother. g r e a t
    grandmother, and providing
    for her family with her
    cooking and baking. She
    greatly enjoyed raising
    flow,er|. feeding and
    watering birds, and her
    large collection of wind
    chimes.
    In addition to her husband,
    Charles. June is
    survived by four sons,
    Robert C. and wife Jean.
    Stokes, William' E. and
    wife Roxanne.. Guilderland.
    Thomas E. and wile
    Jean. Walworth, and Brian
    G.. Rochester: five daughters.

    10 a.m at the Trainor
    Funeral Home. Inc.. 143
    Schuyler'Street, Boonvtlle.
    at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's
    Church. West Leyden,
    where Reverend Lawrence
    Marullo. pastor, celebrated
    a Mass of Christian Burial.
    Interment followed In 'St
    Mary's Cemetery. West
    Leyden. Calling hours at
    the funeral home were
    Thursday from 7-9 p.m..
    and Friday from 1-4 and
    7-9 p.m. A Christian Wake
    Service was. held Friday at
    7 p.m. at the funeral
    home. Alf attending the
    funeral Mass were' invited
    to join her family at a
    reception at. St. Mary's

    following the interment
    service.

    William J. Beha, 85, ??
    Street, West Leyden, was
    assistant manager, of the
    Boonville Agway Store for
    number of years, died at the
    Sunset Nursing Home, Boon-
    ville on Saturday afternoon,
    April 3, 1982. Mr. Beha had
    been a patient at the nursing
    home for the past four years.
    Born in West Leyden on
    November 1, 1986, he was the
    son of John and Mary Kotary
    Beha. Mr. Beha was a lifelong
    resident of the West Leyden
    area. He attended Boonville
    High School. In 1920 he
    purchased the Frank St. John
    Farm at Mud Lake in the
    Town of Lewis, Mr. Beha
    married Irene E. Geiskopf at
    St. John's Church, Utica.

    WEST LEYDEN - Mrs.
    Irene G. Beha, 85, a resident
    of Main Street and native of
    Boonville, died at her home
    September 15,1986. She had
    been in ill health for the past
    several months.
    - Born May 14, 1901, a
    daughter of Charles S. and
    Emma Mueller Geiskopf, she
    .spent her younger life in
    Boonviile. A graduate of
    Boonviile High School, she
    graduated from the
    Boonviile Teachers Training
    Class in 1920. Thereafter,
    she taught in the rural
    schools in the West Leyden
    area.
    °' On January 3, 1923, she
    married WilliamJ. Beha at
    St. John's Church, Utica.
    After their marriage they
    settled on a farm on the Mud
    Lake Road. They operated
    the farm until 1948 when
    they moved to West Leyden.
    Mr. Beha died April 3.1982.
    Mrs. Beha was a member
    of St. Mary's Church, its
    Altar and Rosary Society
    and the Young at Heart
    Senior Citizens Club of
    Boonviile.
    Mrs. Beha is survived by a
    son, Charles F. Beha, West
    Leyden; two daughters,
    Mrs. Robert (Marjorie)
    Lopez, of Westport, and
    Miss Ruth I. Beha, West
    Leyden, a brother,
    Frederick G. Geiskopf,
    Boonviile, 27 grandchildren;
    and 14 great grandchildren.
    A son, George Beha, died
    December 17, 1977.
    Funeral services were*
    held September 18, 1986, at
    the Trainor Funeral Home,
    Boonviile, and at St. Mary's
    Church where Rev. Charles
    Cotter, pastor, celebrated a
    funeral Mass. Interment was
    made in St. Mary's
    Cemetery.
    Bearers were Robert
    Beha, Thomas Beha, William
    Beha, Brian Beha, Gary
    Gates and Steve Sullivan.

    WEST LEYDEN -- Mrs. Mary
    Kotary Beha, 84, widow of John
    Beha, died May 3, 1954 in sun-
    set Nursing Hospital, Constable-
    ville. She had been in ill health
    for the past year and seriously
    ill for one week.
    She was born near Weat Ley-
    den, March 14, 1870, daughter
    of Joseph and Adeline Seelman
    Kotary. She spent nearly all her
    life at West Leyden and attended
    local schools.. She also attended
    St. Michael's Sisters School at
    Mohawk Hill.
    She was married to John Beha
    on October 1, 1888, at St. Mi-
    chael's Church, Mohawk Hill, by
    the Rev. Joseph Welant. The
    couple purchased the Beha home-
    stead farm near West Leyden
    and lived there until 1920. In
    1923, they purchased their home
    in West Leyden village where
    they had sines lived.
    The couple celebrated their
    50th wedding anniversary on
    October 1, 1938. A High Mass
    was celebrated by the Rev. B. A.
    O'Connell at S t Mary's Church,
    West Leyden. On October 1, 1948,
    the couple celebrated their 60th
    wedding anniversary with an
    open house at their home here.
    Mr. Beha died Feb. 8, 1952
    Mrs. Beha was a communicant
    of St. Mary's Church, West Ley

    den, and a member of its Altar-
    Rosary Society. She was a gold
    star member of West Leyden
    Grange 620. She had held every
    office in th£ grange excepting
    master.
    Surviving are five sons. Ambrose
    L. Beha, Watervule; Henry
    F. Beha, Columbus, Ohio; James
    a. Beha, Mohawk, superintend-
    ent of Frankfort schools; Ray-
    mond G. and William J. Beha
    both of West Leyden; one adopt-
    ed daughter, Mrs. Theresa Na-
    bors, Seattle, Wash.; 19 grand-
    chidren, 35 great-grandchildren;
    one brother, Benjamin Kotary,
    Boonville; several nieces and
    nephews.
    The funeral will be at 9:15
    Thursday from the Trainor Fu-
    neral Home, Boonville, and at
    10 from St. Mary's Church, West
    Leyden, where a requiem high
    Mass will be celebrated by the
    Rev. Aloysius Isele. Burial will
    be in St. Mary's Cemetery, West
    Leyden.
