    a daughter. Mrs. Richard
    (Linda ยป Ferloin of Kenmore;
    three grandchildren; a
    brother. Wilbur Behm of Tonawanda
    and a sister. Mrs. Stanley
    Urlin of Hamilton. Ont.
    Friends may call at the Freehold
    Funeral Home Inc.. 1241
    Oliver St. at Ward Road, where
    services will be conducted at 10
    a.m. Saturday. The Rev. Milton
    L. Straube will officiate. Interment
    in Elmlawn Cemetery
    The family will be in attendance
    from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

    A quiet wedding was solemnized
    Saturday afternoon October 3rd
    at 4 o'clock in the parsonage of
    St. Peter's church on Oliver street
    when Miss Helen E. Schuler, the
    daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward
    Schuler of Stenzil street became
    the bride of Mr. George J. Behm
    of East Thompson street. The Rev.
    Theophil Twente officiated.
    The bride wore a gown of rust
    crepe made on princess lines, with
    hat to match, and a corsage of
    talisman roses and baby breath
    tied with gold ribbons. She wore
    brown slippers with stockings to
    match.
    Miss Mildred Schuler, sister of
    the bride was her only attendant
    and wore a gown of brown crepe,
    with hat and slippers to match.
    Her corsage was of talisman roses
    and baby breath. Mr. Stanley
    Smith attended Mr. Behm as best
    man.
    In the evening a reception was
    held for twenty-five guests at the
    home of the groom's brother,
    Mr. Wilbur Behm of Kohler street.
    After a short wedding trip, Mr
    and Mrs. Behm will make their
    home in 620 East Thompson street.

    Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth
    Secord Behm, wife of August
    Behm, who died Tuesday, will be
    held at 2 p. m. tomorrow at the
    home of her son, Albert Behm,-1918
    Tenth street, with the Rev. G. H.
    Mlchelson officiating. Burial will
    be in Elmlawn cemetery, North
    Tonawanda.
    Mm. Behm. who was 69 years old
    and had resided in this country for
    52 years, was a native of St. Da-
    vids, Ont. She was a descendant of
    Laura Secord, famous Canadian
    heroine of the War of 1812, and
    her family was one of the most
    widely known in the Niagara pen-
    insula.
    Besides ber husband, she is survived

    by five sons, Albert, of this
    city; John and George, of North
    Tonawanda. and Fred and Wilbur,
    of Tonawanda; one daughter, Mrs.
    C. S. Urlin, of Hamilton, Ont.;
    her mother, Mrs. Sarah Secord, of
    Stamford, Ont.; three brothers,
    William Secord. of Thorold, Ont.;
    Philip Secord, of Niagara Falls, Ont.,
    and James Secord. of Stamford,
    Ont. and a sister, Mrs. Marion
    Miles, of Stamford. Ten grandchildren
    and three great-grandchildren
    also survive.

    Mr. and Mrs. August Behm of
    620 East Thompson street observed
    their golden wedding anniversary
    on February 3. Mr. Before came to
    ths country in 1883 from Germany
    and has spent most of his life, since
    then, in North Tonawanda and vicinity.
    Mrs. Behm came from St Davids,
    Ont, in 1885. They were married
    in that year in Bergholtz,
    town of Wheatfleld, by the Rev.
    Weinbach. Mrs. Behm was Miss
    Elizabeth Second.
    Their family was composed of
    seven sons, one daughter and 11
    grandchildren. Two sons are dead.
    Sons who survive are Albert Behm
    of Niagara Falls; John, Fred. Wilbert
    and George Behm of the Tonawandas.
    The daughter, Mrs. Ella
    Urlin, resides in Hamilton, Ont.
    Illness of Mrs. Behm prevented
    an elaborate celebration, Just the
    immediate family being present
    Mr. Behm has been employed

    for 32 years as janitor of public
    schools in North Tonawanda. At
    present, he s employed at Fine
    Woods school in Schenck street. He
    has also been janitor at Col. Payne
    and Gratwick schools.
