    Saturday, February 14th at 11
    o'clock the St. John Gaulbert's
    Church, Gaulbert and Lost streets,
    Cheektowaga was the scene of a
    beautiful wedding when Miss Gertrude
    Dominiak, daughter of Mr.
    and Mrs. S. A. Dominiak of 20
    Ridge Park, Cheektowaga, became
    the bride of Mr. Kermit L. Behm,
    son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank F.
    Behm of 178 East Felton street
    The Rev. Waiter Garstka officiated,
    using the double ring ceremony.
    The altar was adorned with
    bouquets of roses, jonquils, and
    gladioli. During the ceremony.
    Miss Irene Zablotna sang "Ava
    Maria",
    Given in marriage by her father,
    the bride wis lovely In a gown
    of white satin, made princess
    style, with lace at the high neckline,
    long tight sleeves coming to
    points at the wrists, tiny buttons
    down the back, and a full skirt
    ending in a long train. Her finger-
    tip length veil of illusion
    which was edged in lace to match
    that on her gown, fell from a
    tiara of satin orange blossoms. She
    wore a cross of tiny pearls and
    carried a cascade bouquet of white
    sweet peas and lily of the valley,
    centered. with two orchids and
    tied with wide satin ribbon bows.
    The maid of honor, Miss Rose
    Wroblewski, wore a gown of peach
    moire taffeta in princess style,
    short sleeves, high neckline, and
    tiny buttons down the back, to
    below the waist. She wore a tiara
    of aqua flowers, aqua satin sandals
    and a gold locket. She carried
    a cascade bouquet of talisman
    roses, sweet peas, and peach
    gladioli tied with bows of wide
    aqua satin ribbon.
    Mr. Robert F. Batt of North
    Tonawanda attended his brother in-
    law as best man.
    The mother of the bride wore
    a defense blue crepe dress and the
    groom's mother wore navy blue
    printed silk. Each wore matching
    accessories and corsages of talisman
    roses, gladioli, sweet peas,
    and lily of the valley, tied with
    silver .ribbon. Mrs. Philip Urtel,
    maternal grandmother of the

    groom, also attended wearing a
    tailored dress of black cashmere
    with matching accessories and a
    corsage of pink roses and sweet
    peas tied with silver ribbon.
    After the ceremony a dinner
    was held at the home of the bride
    for the bridal party and the immediate
    families, covers being laid
    for 88 st s long table centered
    with a three tiered wedding cake
    topped by a miniature bride and
    groom flanked by tall white candles
    in silver holders.
    Mr. and Mrs. Behm will make
    their home in 20 Ridge Park,
    Cheektowaga.
    Those who attended the wedding
    from North Tonawanda were
    Mr. and Mrs. Frank Behm and
    son Roger, Mr. and Mrs. Robert
    F. Batt, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Thursam,
    Mr. Kennard Thursam, Mr.
    Karl Karkau and Mrs. Philip Uriel
    of Niagara Falls. Other guests
    present were from Cheektowaga,
    Sloan, and Buffalo.
    Pre-nuptials in honor of the
    bride were a variety shower given
    by Mrs. Frank Behm, Mrs. Robert
    F. Bait, and Mrs. Lee Thursam,
    given at the home of the former
    on January 31 and also, a variety
    shower given by the sisters of
    the bride on February 4 at the
    bride's home.

    Rd. died Monday (Dec. 23, 1957)
    at th De Graff Memorial Hos-
    pital after a short illness.
    Born in the township of Cam-
    bria, he had lived in this city the
    past 40 years. He was a member
    of St. Mark's Lutheran Church
    and was formerly employed by the
    Buffalo Bolt Co. His wife, the late
    Mrs. Alma Urtel Behm, died July
    19, 1957. He is survived by two
    sons, Kermit of Kenmore and
    Roger Behm of this city; two
    daughters Mrs. P. LeGrant Thur-
    sam and Mrs. Robert Batts, both
    of this city; two brothers, Ber-
    nard Behm, Florida, albert Behm,
    of this city; two sisters, Mrs.
    Bertha Hahn, Buffalo and Mrs.
    George Klemer of this city and
    10 grandchildren.
    The Rev. Hall Fretthold will
    conduct funeral services at 2 p.m
    Thursday in the Fretthold Funeral
    Home. Interment will be in St.
    Mark's Lutheran Cemetery.

    LOCKPORT. Mar. 14-Mrs. Auguste
    Behm, 79 years old, widow of the late
    Auguste Behm, of Cambria, died late
    yesterday at her home in the Lower
    Mountain road, Cambria, following a
    long illness.
    Mrs. Behm came to this country
    from Germany 52 years ago and spent
    the greater part of her life In Niagara
    county. She was an active member
    of the German Lutheran church at
    North Ridge.
    She is survived by four sons, John
    A. Behm of Cambria, Bernard A.,
    Frank F. and Albert A. Behm, all of
    North Tonawanda, and three daughters,
    Mrs. Albert Hahn, Cambria; Mrs.
    C. Nogel, Lockport; and Mrs. George
    Elemer. of North Tonawanda. One
    brother, Albert Hidde, Niagara Falls,
    also survives.
    Funeral services will be held from
    the home Wedneseday afternoon at
    1:30 o'clock and at 2 o'clock from the
    North Ridge German Lutheran
    church, the Rev. John Barkow. officiating.
    Burial will be in North
    Ridge cemetery.
