North Tonawanda NY Evening News - 5/9/1908

Mrs. Susanna Behnke of Erie, Pa.,
wife of Christian Behnke, died Thurs
day at the home of her parents, Mr.
and Mrs. Fred Pohrman of 245 Wil-
liam street. Mrs. Behnke came here
to spend Easter with her parents and
was taken ill a few days after arriv-
ing.
She Is survived by her husband and
three clhldren. Her parents, one sister,
Mrs. Otto Penzlein, and one brother,
William Pohrman of this city, sur-
vive. The funeral will take place Sun-
day afternoon at 2 o'clock from the
Pohrman residence and a half hour
later from the Emmanuel Lutheran
church on Morgan street. Interment
will be in Elmlawn. Rev. F. O. Schloz
will officiate.

Susanna married BEHNKE, Christian J on 7 Sep 1904 in Tonawanda, Erie County, NY. Christian (son of BEHNKE, Louis and Johanna) was born on 13 Jul 1873 in New York; died in Jun 1972 in Erie, Erie County, PA. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

The wedding of Mrs. Susan Kreiger to
Christian Behnke took place at the
home of the bride's parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Fred Parman of William street,
last evening. Rev. Schultz of the German
Lutheran Church officiated.
Numerous guests were present from the
Tonawanda and out of town
