    Notes:

    MICHAEL. R. BELCZAK of North Tonawanda entered into rest on October 13, 2023 at his
    residence after a lengthy battle with Multiple Sclerosis. He was 71 years old. Michael was the
    son of the late Joseph and Irene (Gabrys) Belczak of North Tonawanda; beloved husband of
    Ann (Kick) Belczak; beloved father of Mary Beth (John) Crossett, Laura (Michael) Heim and
    Daniel (Deborah Makin) Belczak of Madison, Wisconsin; proud grandfather of Benjamin,
    Christopher, Liam and Julia Crossett, Patrick, Allison and Margaret Heim and Evelyn Belczak.
    He is survived by his brother, Joseph (Lorraine) Belczak and two sisters, Barbara (Vince)
    Pecoraro and Patricia (Mark) Wieclaw, and many nieces and nephews.
    Michael was a family man and enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He
    was a true Buffalo Sabres and Buffalo Bills fan and always enjoyed watching the game with his
    family. Michael spent many hours in the swimming pool at the Tonawanda Aquatic Center with
    his father and many summers in his own pool. When he was able, he loved spending time
    golfing with friends.
    Michael recently retired from his practice as an attorney in North Tonawanda which he enjoyed
    for over 40 years. In recent years, his practice focused on real estate and he assisted many
    clients sell and purchase homes, many of whom became personal friends. He was a member of
    the New York State Bar Association and Erie County Bar Association.
    The family will greet relatives and friends on Tuesday October 17, 2023 from 3 to 8 PM in the Wattengel Funeral Home, 533 Meadow Drive in North Tonawanda. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday October 18, 2023 at 9:30 AM from St. Jude the Apostle Parish, 800 Niagara Falls Blvd in North Tonawanda.
    Burial will follow at Friedens Cemetery, Wheatfield. Flowers are gratefully declined, if desired memorials may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society or to Niagara Hospice.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday at 9:30 AM from Our Lady of Czestochowa Parish, 626 Oliver St. N. Tonawanda (please assemble at church). Entombment Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Following retirement Mrs. Belczak pursued her interest in oil painting and created over 150 pictures for family and friends. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Our Lady of Czestochowa Renovation Fund or Niagara Hospice.

    The first aid squad of the fire
    department was called and administered
    oxygen to him before
    he was taken to the hospital.
    Mr. Belczak is the father of Jo-
    seph and Felix Belczak, who are
