    Miss Nancy Belknap daughter ol
    Mrs. Agnes Belknap of 128 North
    Fulton Street, and the late Clarence
    Belknap, became the bride of
    Edward K. Shaw, son of Mr. and
    Mrs. Edward Shaw of 37 H Parker
    Street, Monday in Holy Family
    Church. The Very Rev. Dean John
    X. Conway, pastor of Holy Family
    Church, performed the ceremony.
    For the occasion -the church was
    decorated with yellow rose buds
    and gladioli.
    The bride wore a floor length
    gown of white net over taffeta
    with a half hat of gardinias and
    a finger tip length veil. The bridal
    bouquet was of white roses arid
    baby's breath centered with gardinias.
    Miss Shirley Eckert was the
    bridesmaid. She was attired in a
    floor length gown of mint green
    taffeta and she wore a Juliet cap.
    Her bouquet was yellow roses and
    baby's breath.
    The bridegroom's attendant was
    William Hoskins of Geneva and
    the ushers were Jack Poole and
    Tech. Sergt, Charles Churchill,
    U. S. A. Presiding at the organ
    was Mrs. Howard Blumrick.
    A wedding reception was held at
    the home* of the bride's mother for
    about 50 guests.
    The bride is a graduate of Holy
    Family High School and the Au-
    burn City Hospital School of
    Nursing. The bridegroom is a
    graduate of East High Schol and
    he is employed at the Lakeland Optical
    Works in this city. Following
    a wedding trip to the Adirondack
    Mountains the bride and bridegroom
    will be at home at 46 Nelson
    Street.
    The bride was entertained by
    Miss Louise Decker, Mrs. Frederick
    Bacon, Mrs. Harry Forsythe, Mrs.
    Helen Duckett, Mrs. James Bannon.
    Miss Dorothy Rlcketts, Mrs.
    June Collins, Miss Shirley Eckert
    and Mr. and Mrs. Carl Ricker.
    For her going away ouflt the
    bride selected a Lady Hamilton
    white suit with yellow accessories.

    Catholic Church rites and military
    honors marked the funeral
    services for Clarence Belknap,
    World War veteran who served
    oversees in the U. S. aerial service,
    which were held at 8:30
    o'clock Friday morning, 328
    North Fulton Street, and at 9
    o'clock at Holy Family Church. A
    requiem high Mass was sung by
    Rev. John J. Heely with Rev.
    Dean John A. Conway and
    Rev. William E. Davie in the sanctuary.
    The funeral was largely
    attended and there many Mass
    cards and flowers. Burial was in
    St Joseph's Cemetery, where services
    were conducted by Dean
    Conway and Father Healy:
    The funeral cortege stopped at
    Memorial City Hall, while "Old
    Wheeler" tolled a tribute. Taps
    at the grave were sounded by
    Buglar Francis Mastropletro. The
    casket was draped with the American
    flag. Bearers were James
    Bannon, James Gillooly, Michael
    Ryan, Patrick Hennessey, Andrew
    Shapley and Joseph Myers.

    Clarence Joseph Belknap, husband
    of Agnes Belknap, aged 47

    8:30 with services at Holy Family
    Church at 9 o'clock. Burial
    will be made in St. Joseph's
    cemetery.

    Burgduff, in Savannah.
    Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Eva
    Cartner Belkap; seven sons, Emmett,
    Clarence, Roland, Keith.
    Dorsell, Roscoe and Paul, all of
    Auburn; four daughters, Mrs.
    Morris Burghduff of Savannah;
    Mrs. Louis Dreythaler of Fort
    Plain, Mrs. John O'Brien of Owasco
    and Mrs. Herbert Coogans of
    Skaneateles Falls.
    Funeral services will be held at
    2:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon
    at the home of the daughter,
    Mrs. Burghduff, in Savannah. Interment
    will be in Spring Lake
    Cemetery.

    Mrs. Eva Belknap, widow of
    Melvin Belknap, died Sunday
    morning at the home of her daughter,
    Mrs. John O'Brien, RD, Skaneateles,
    where she had made her
    home for several years.
    Born in the town of Conquest,

    she had lived in this section nearly
    30 years. In 1921 she moved here
    , from Savannah.
    She is survived by four daughters,
    Mrs. Morris Burghduff of
    Savannah, Mrs. Mylisa Dreythaler
    of Auburn, Mrs. Herbert Coggen
    of RD, Skaneateles. and Mrs.
    O'Brien; six sons, Emmett Belknap,
    Syracuse. Roland Belknap,
    Cayuga, Keith Belknap. RD, Skaneateles,
    Dorsell Belknap, Auburn,
    Roscoe Belknap, RD, Skaneateles,
    and Paul Belknap. RD, Skaneateles;
    eight grandsons, 13 granddaughters,
    11 great-grandchildren,
    an one brother, Clarence Cartner
    of Savannah.
    Services will be held at 1 p. m.
    Tuesday at the residence of her
    daughter. Mrs. John O'Brien. The
    Rev. Stanley P. Jones, pastor of
    Owasco Reformed Church, will officiate.
    Burial will be in Spring
    Lake Cemetery, Conquest.
    Friends may call at the home of
    Mrs. John O'Brien Monday afternoon
    and evening at their convenience.
