    Miss Nancy Belknap daughter ol
    Mrs. Agnes Belknap of 128 North
    Fulton Street, and the late Clarence
    Belknap, became the bride of
    Edward K. Shaw, son of Mr. and
    Mrs. Edward Shaw of 37 H Parker
    Street, Monday in Holy Family
    Church. The Very Rev. Dean John
    X. Conway, pastor of Holy Family
    Church, performed the ceremony.
    For the occasion -the church was
    decorated with yellow rose buds
    and gladioli.
    The bride wore a floor length
    gown of white net over taffeta
    with a half hat of gardinias and
    a finger tip length veil. The bridal
    bouquet was of white roses arid
    baby's breath centered with gardinias.
    Miss Shirley Eckert was the
    bridesmaid. She was attired in a
    floor length gown of mint green
    taffeta and she wore a Juliet cap.
    Her bouquet was yellow roses and
    baby's breath.
    The bridegroom's attendant was
    William Hoskins of Geneva and
    the ushers were Jack Poole and
    Tech. Sergt, Charles Churchill,
    U. S. A. Presiding at the organ
    was Mrs. Howard Blumrick.
    A wedding reception was held at
    the home* of the bride's mother for
    about 50 guests.
    The bride is a graduate of Holy
    Family High School and the Au-
    burn City Hospital School of
    Nursing. The bridegroom is a
    graduate of East High Schol and
    he is employed at the Lakeland Optical
    Works in this city. Following
    a wedding trip to the Adirondack
    Mountains the bride and bridegroom
    will be at home at 46 Nelson
    Street.
    The bride was entertained by
    Miss Louise Decker, Mrs. Frederick
    Bacon, Mrs. Harry Forsythe, Mrs.
    Helen Duckett, Mrs. James Bannon.
    Miss Dorothy Rlcketts, Mrs.
    June Collins, Miss Shirley Eckert
    and Mr. and Mrs. Carl Ricker.
    For her going away ouflt the
    bride selected a Lady Hamilton
    white suit with yellow accessories.
