    Mrs. Robert L. Turner entertained at an attractive luncheon
    party Saturday at her home, when announcement was made
    of the engagement of her daughter. Miss Mildred Harriett
    Turner, to Lewia Merritt Bell.
    Miss Turner is the daughter of. -
    Mr. and Mrs. Robert Turner of Vine
    street and Mr. Bell is the son of Mr..
    and Mrs. Jesse M. Bell of Pine'
    street. The marriage will take place
    in September.
    Luncheon was served from three
    small tables with a miniature bride
    and groom centering the table at
    which Miss Turner was seated. The
    other tables were centered with bou-
    quets of flowers.
    Bridge was played during the

    afternoon.
    Guests included Mrs. Jesse M.
    BeU. Mrs. Clifford C. Curter, Mrs.
    F. Leslie Pew. Mrs. Dennis W.
    Glassford, Miss Helen Leichtnam.
    Mrs. Robert w. Skellan, Miss
    Louise Turner, Miss Anne Wendel,
    Miss Ruth Wendel and Mrs. H.
    Clement Whitmore.

    Miss Mildred Turner's marriage

    to Lewis M. Bell was solemnized this
    morning at 11 o'clock during an
    attractive ceremony held in St.
    Mark's Episcopal church, LeRoy, the
    Rev. Eversley S. Ferris, rector of the
    church and formerly of Loekport,
    officiating.
    The bride Is the daughter of .Mr.
    and Mrs. Robert L. Turner of 15
    Vine street and Mr. Bell Is the
    son of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse M. Bell
    of 129 Pine street.
    The bride wore a river blue sheer
    wool dress with jacket of velveteen
    and blue accessories. Her corsage
    was of white orchids tied with white.
    Her attendant. Miss Anne Wendel,
    wore a rose-colored sheer wool with
    an orchid of the same share with
    matching ribbon. Her accessories
    were black. William H. Bell was his
    brother's best man.
    Folowing the ceremony, the bridal
    party of four had luncheon at the
    Hotel Sagamore in Rochester and
    Mr. and Mrs. Bell left for a trip
    to Washington and Virginia. They
    will make their home at 242 South
    Transit street after Sept. 21.
