(nee Phelps) Christoff, age 75, of Wheatfield, passed away on August 13, 2014 following a lengthy illness. Born in Buffalo on January 16, 1939, daughter of the late Raymond and Rita (nee Bell) Phelps. Mrs. Christoff graduated from North Tonawanda High School, Class of 1956. She was a 53-year member of the Rescue Hose #5 Fire Company Auxiliary. Beloved wife of 56 years to Peter P. Christoff; loving mother of Valerie (James) Diermyer of Wheatfield, Karen (Mark) Zientara of Wheatfield and the late Steven and late Lisa Christoff; devoted grandmother of Lindsay and Andrew Kirsch, Kelli Diermyer and Dana and Kevin Zientara; sister of Donald (Gerri) Phelps of North Tonawanda and the late David (Pat) Phelps of Haines City, FL. Friends may call on Friday from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM at the WATTENGEL Funeral Home, 307 Oliver St., North Tonawanda where Funeral Services will be held on Saturday (enter funeral home parking by way of alley from Robinson or Schenck St. due to Saturday's Art Show) at 10:30 AM. performed in Sacred
Heart Church, Niagara
Falls.
The Rev. Francis Schwartz offi
dated before an altar decorated
with white roses.
The bride wore a gown of Chan-
tilly lace and nylon tulle with a
bodice of lace fashioned with a
sabrina neckline, short shirred
sleeves, and a bouffant tulle skirt
scattered with sequins. A tiara of
sequins and pearls held her ny-
lon tulle veil and she carried a
colonial bouquet of white baby
roses and carnations.
Miss Gail Miller, the maid of
honor, was attired in a white nylon
over pink net dress. Her gown
featured short: sleeves, .a scoop
neckline and flared skirt with a
bow in back. Miss Jean Zaharkin,
Miss Laurel Bauer and Mrs. Vin-
!cent Pallaci.'the bridegroom's sis-
ter, were bridesmaids. their
gowns were of pale green color
over white net. All attendants
wore picture hats to match their
gowns and carried colonial bou-
quets of pink roses and carna-
tions.
Joseph Baldassara was best
man. George'Bedore, Vincent Pallaci
and David Phelps, the bride's
brother, were ushers.
The bride's mother wore a white
nylon over net dress accented
with a pale yellow flower design.
Her hat and accessories were
white and her corsage, a white
orchid. The bridegroom's mother
wore a two piece cotton dress in
tangerine shade with white accessories
and a corsage of white
roses.
Out of town guests attending a
reception in Adams Fire Hall
were from Miami, Niagara Falls,
Buffalo and the Tonawandas.
After a wedding journey to New
Hampshire, Mr. and Mrs. Christoff
are at home in 13 Erie St.

Mr Phelps is survived by his wife

NORTH TONAWANDA. Oct. 5-
Mrs. Sadie Phelps. 67. wife of Guy
Phelps, 36 Blckford avenue, died
suddenly late yesterday afternoon
at the home of her son. Raymond
Phelps, 538 East Thompson street.
Mrs. Phelps, who had recovered
from a fractured leg. was brought
to the son's home to recover. Stricken
with a heart attack, the Fire
department was called but on arrival
she had expired.
Surviving, besides her husband,
are two sons. Albert Phillips, of
Buffalo; and Raymond, of this city.
Funeral services will be held at
the home of the son here, the time
to be announced later.

Kenneth W. Bell. 48. of 149 Pine
street, died today at the DeGraff
Memorial hospital, after a brief illness.
He was born In Palemo, Ont.
and had resided here for the past
seven years. He Is survived hy his
wife, Edna Bell; fire daughters, Mrs.
Arnold Henkinson and the Misses
Rita, Dorothy, Carol and Marjorie
Bell; two sons, Willis and Donald,
all of this city; his mother, Mrs.
Martha Bell, and two sisters, Mrs.
Walter Arnold and Mrs. Frank Hall.
of St. Catharines, Ont. The funeral
arrangements have not been completed.
