    Henry Bell, will become the bride of Vincent Charles Cibbarelli,
    son of Mrs. Vincent Cibbarelli, Danbury, Conn.,
    and the late Mr. Cibbarelli, on August 17.
    Toe couple will be united at a
    famlly ceremony to be held at
    Grace Episcopal Church. The
    Very Rev. L. Russell Foster will
    officiate at the 3 o'clock service
    Miss Bell has selected her sister-
    in-law, Mrs Charles Herbert
    Bell of Greenville. S. C for her
    matron of honor. Miss Eliiabeth
    C. Wheeler of Elizabeth, N. J. as
    her maid of honor, and her sister,
    Miss Dana E. Bell, as junior
    bridesmaid. Charles H. Bell, broth-
    er of the bride-elect, will act as
    the groom's best man.
    Miss Bell was entertained at a

    variety shower given by the HoI-
    low Tree School faculty in Darien,;
    Conn., and at a surprise variety
    shower in Rowayton, Conn , by
    Miss Wheeler.
    Prenuptial parties here will include
    a dinner at the Buffalo Coun-;
    try Club by Dr. and Mrs. Harry
    Parker on Wednesday evening, a
    dinner party Thursday evening by
    Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Van Ma-
    ter and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Em-
    erson at the Van Mater home.
    A luncheon Friday by Mrs. E.

    D. Corson, a rehearsal dinner Friday
    by Mr and Mrs. Vernon C.
    Parr, and a wedding brunch Saturday
    by Mr. and Mrs. Karl Lewis.
    The bride-to-be attended Denison
    University where she was a member
    of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority,
    and was graduated from
    Wueelock College in Boston. She
    is a member of the Hollow Tree
    School faculty, Darien, Conn.
    The groom-elect attended Columbia
    University and was graduated
    from Danbury State Teachers
    College where he was active
    in student affairs, serving as president
    of the student government
    and president of the Connecticut
    Inter-Collegiate Student Legislature.
    He received his Masters Degree
    from Fairfield University,
    and is a member of the Holmes
    School faculty, Darien, Conn.

    LOCKPORT-A farm machinery
    salesman, Herbert Beers, 37. was
    burned to death early today by a
    fire of undetermined origin which
    destroyed his home in the Ridge
    road, one-half miles east of Ridgewood.
    N. Y., with a loss estimated
    by firemen at $5,000.
    The fire was well advanced when
    a passing motorist discovered at
    about 1 o'clock this morning and
    aroused Mr. Beers' father, Charles
    W. Beers, who resides next door.

    It was then impossible to enter the
    burning building.
    Wrights' Corners and Newfane
    village firemen found the charred
    body several hours later after hundreds
    of gallons of water, carried
    by tank trucks, had been poured
    into the smouldering ruins.
    Mr. Beers, who was employed by
    his father In the farm machinery
    business at Ridgewood, Is believed
    to have retired. Firemen believe
    that he awakened and made an
    unsuccessful effort to get out of the
    burning half-story wooden structure
    as his body was not found in
    the part of the ruins where his
    bedroom was located.
    His wife. Mrs. Mary Hannigan
    Beers, who had been out for the

    evening, returned while firemen
    were fighting the blaze and was
    prostrated' with grief. Besides his
    wife and parents. Mr. Beers leaves
    one brother. Clifford W. Beers, of
    Rochester. N. Y., who was formerly
    in the automobile business here. At
    one time Herbert Beers was employed
    bv his brother in the automobile
    field.
    The destroyed home was owned
    by Charles W. Beers, and was believed
    to be about 100 years old. It
    had been recently remodelled.
    Wright's Corners firemen, under
    Chief Ray Dlrling, were first on the
    scene and were followed by the
    Miller Hose company. Newfane. N.
    Y.. under Chief Edwin Rowland.
    The fire was beyond control when
    they arrived and hose lines were
    concentrated on the sleeping quarters.
    Chief Dlrling estimated that 6,000
    gallons of water were used. Dr.
    Mabel Carrner. coroner, of Newfane,
    and State police at Lewlston, N. Y ,
    were notified.

    Beers a t t e n d e d his brother as best
    man and p r e c e d i n g the bride was
    a small ring bearer. Joan Beers.
    niece of the groom, in a dainty
    frock of blue crepe de chine and
    carrying the wedding ring hidden
    within a rose.
    A w e d d i n g d i n n e r f o l l o w e d , sev-
    en being seated at the bridal table
    which was aarranged in yellow and
    white, daffodils with yellow tapers
    in crystal holders forming the ef-
    fective decorations.
    Later Mr. and Mrs. Beers left
    for a trip to Florida, and upon
    their return will be at home in Me-
    dina.

    Peers, Ridge Road, Ridgewood,
    died today (Aug. 8; 1962)
    at Inter Community Memorial
    Hospital on his 86th birthday.
    He had been a patient there
    for the last two weeks.
    Bom here Aug 8. 1882. he
    was a son of the late William
    H and Edna Mason Beers. He
    was a veteran automobile
    dealer beginning in 1910 with
    the Chevrolet Co. He was
    later In the same business in
    Lockport and Albion. At one
    time he was a salesman
    the Friends Manufacturing
    t o . Gasport.
    Mr. Beers had lived at
    Rldgewood since 1922 and for
    the last 12 years he spent his
    winters in Daytona Reach.

    died Sept. 20, 1938. They had
    been married 59 years
    He is survived by his wife,
    Lillian M Beers, a son Clifford

    Beers, 80. wife of Charles W
    Beers, died Saturday night (Sept
    20, 1958) at the Intercommunity
    Memorial Hospital at Nowfane.
    She had been in ill health for thei
    past five months and entered the
    new hospital on Wednesday, its
    opening day Her death was the
    first at the new hospital
    Mrs. Beers was horn Nov 15,
    1877, at Mercer Pa . a daughter
    of Samuel O and Mary Buckley
    Berean. She rame to Nowfane in
    her youth and taught in district
    schools in this area
    She was married to Mr Beers
    In 1899 and on July 17 they cele
    brated their 59th wedding anniver
    sary They had resided at Ridge
    wood since 1933 and had spent
    their winters in Florida
    When in New fane Mrs Beers
    was a member of the Methodist
    Church and taught in Its Church
    School. She also belonged to the
    Senior Philathea Class, the Tuesday
    Club, the Literary Club and
    the Order of Eastern Star
    Surviving besides her husband
    are one son, Clifford W Beers
    of Rochester, two grandchildren,
    four great grandchildren and one
    sister. Mrs Lottie Bradley of the
    State of Washington
    Services will be held at the Cor
    win Funeral Home tomorrow at
    2 in the afternoon with the Rev
    Raymond Shaw officiating Burial
    will be In Wright's Corners Cem
    etery.
