RENO, NV — Marjorie L. Elliott (nee Lawrence), of Reno, NV, formerly of Tonawanda, entered into rest on Monday, December 17, 2012, after a brief illness. Her husband, Keith, preceded her in death in July 2012.

She is survived by a son, Timothy L. Schulte, wife Christina and a granddaughter, Sarah of Troy, VA; her parents, Delbert and Louise Price Lawrence of Tonawanda; and two brothers, David (Alexandra McGeary) of East Aurora and Thomas (Deborah) Lawrence of Tonawanda. She is also survived by six step-children; many nieces, nephews, cousins and her dear friend, Noreen Keefe of Tonawanda.

There will be a memorial service on Wednesday, January 2, 2013, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, William and Scott Streets in the City of Tonawanda, at 10:00 AM.

(nee Price) Lawrence, age 87, of the City of Tonawanda, on Monday, February 17, 2014 at her residence. A lifelong resident of Tonawanda, Louise was a 1945 graduate of Tonawanda High School and had been employed as a proofreader for the Daily Press prior to her marriage to her husband, Delbert. She was also employed as a Secretary in the Grand Island School System for 21 years, retiring in 1985. Louise was an active member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and a member of the church choir and Altar Guild. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Delbert Lawrence; two sons, David (Alexandra McGerry) Lawrence of East Aurora and Thomas (Deborah) Lawrence of Tonawanda and was the mother of the late Marjorie (the late Keith) Elliott; eleven grandchildren, Chelsey (Jerome) Neypes, Jaime (Rob) Russell, Timothy (Christina) Schulte, Kevin (Ramona) Lawrence, Michael Lawrence, KatieAnn (Jeffrey) Moore, Jason (Julie Raish) Repko, Brian (Mary Jo) LaPlante, Michelle (Charles) Bailey, Matthew LaPlante and Andrew (Codie) LaPlante, and seventeen great-grandchildren; and was the sister of the late Ruth Fingerlow and George (the late Amanda) Price. Also survived by nieces and nephews. There will be no prior visitation. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday at 11 AM in Immanuel Lutheran Church, cor. of Scott and William Sts. in Tonawanda by the Rev. Andrew Abraham. Relatives and friends invited. Club. Mr. Lawrence was
also a member and
organizer of the Twin
City Checkers Club and
was instrumental in
arranging tournaments
throughout the area
including Ontario,
Canada for almost 50
years.
He is survived by a
daughter, Mrs. Ira
(Delcia) Ackerman of
Tonawanda; two sons,

and Richard (Norine)
Lawrence of Grand
Island; six grandchildren

great-grandchildren.
