    RUSKIN, FL —
    Annetta "Netta" Frances Cottet (Scalzo) of Ruskin, FL entered into eternal rest, peacefully, on July 1, 2013 at the LifePath Hospice House in Ruskin, Florida surrounded by her loving family. Annetta was born in Niagara Falls, NY to the late Louis and Irene (Logan) Scalzo. She married the late Franklyn Cottet in 1940.
    Annetta attended local Niagara Falls schools and retired from Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center where she worked in the Central Service department. She was a member of Prince of Peace and St. Mary's of the Cataract Church while living in Niagara Falls.
    Annetta is survived by five children, Marguerite Cottet and Charlene Cottet of Ruskin, FL, Marybeth (Vincent) Johnson of Cape Coral, FL, Robert (Rachel) Cottet of Weston, FL and Franklyn (late Ginny) Cottet of Riverview, FL. She is predeceased by two sons, Ronald Cottet and Theodore Cottet, both of Florida. She is survived by three sisters, Ann (late John) Waldriff, Loretta (late Sam) Musolino, and Ruth (late Charles) Terrana, all of Niagara Falls, NY. She was predeceased by Dorothy (late Carl) Guidotti, Evelyn (late Frank) Syracuse, Brandalyn "Beanie" (late Frank) Bellavia; and two brothers, Joseph Scalzo and Louis (late Julie) Scalzo, Jr. She is survived by sixteen grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren; her dear friend, Bonnie Lawrence; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
    Annetta will be laid to rest, with her late husband and sons, at the Memorial Park Cemetery in St Petersburg, FL. There will be no prior funeral arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to any Hospice house or the St Jude's Children Hospital.

    Niagara St.. died Saturday
    (Sept. 4, 1965) at Mount St.
    Mary's Hospital

    short illness.
    Mr. Scalzo
    was born in
    Italy Jan. 15,
    1884 and
    came to the
    United States
    and to Niagara
    Falls in
    1900. He operated
    neigh-
    borhood theaters
    here for
    40 years and
    operated a shoe repair shop
    in Niagara Street at the
    time of his retirement in
    1949.
    He was a musician and
    one of the founders of the
    Scalzo Band that played in
    Niagara Falls during the
    1920s and 1930s.
    Mr. Scalzo is survived by
    one son, Joseph Scalzo,
    Niagara Falls, and seven
    daughters, Mrs. Carl (Dorothy)
    Guidotti, Mrs. Frank
    (Evelyn) Syracusa, Mrs.
    Frank (Brandy) Bellavia,
    Mrs. Frank (Anetta) Cottet,
    Mrs. Jack (Anne) Waldriff,
    Mrs. Sam (Loretta) Musolino
    and Mrs. Charles (Ruth)
    Terrana, all of Niagara
    Falls.
    Thirty-seven grandchildren
    and 16 great-grandchildren
    also survive. He was
    predeceased by his wife,
    Irene Logan Scalzo, in 1935
    and a son, Louis Scalzo,
    North Tonawanda, in 1963.
    Services will be held at
    the Magaddino Memorial
    Chapel Inc., at 9:45 a.m.
    Tuesday and at St. Joseph's
    Church at 10:15 a.m. Burial
    will be in St. Joseph's
    Cemetery.
    * Friends may call at the
    funeral chapel from 2 to 5
    and 7 to 10 p.m. today and
    Monday.
