Husband of 60 years of Carol (nee White) Belling; father of Sandra (John) DiCillo, Bruce G. Belling, Jr., Michael (Krista) Belling and Barbara Dorogi; grandfather of Nicole (Andrew), Ryan, Rachel, Danielle, Kathy and Aric and great-grandfather of Lysette; brother of Carl (Joyce) Belling and the late Leona Ohlrich and David Belling and brother-in-law of Mona (late David) Belling. Also many nieces and nephews. Bruce was a lifetime member of St. Martin Lutheran Church. He was a US Navy Combat Veteran of the Korean War and a member of the original crew of USS The Sullivans. He was a member of USS The Sullivans Organization, a member of Tin Can Sailors and also a member of the Naval Park in Buffalo. There will be no prior visitation. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Bruce's Life on Saturday, February 17th, at 10 AM in St. Martin Lutheran Church, 322 Old Falls Blvd. in North Tonawanda.     daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
    William White, Chateaugay,
    N.Y., became the bride of
    Bruce George Belling, son
    of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Belling,
    16 Benton St., on June
    8 in St. Martin's Lutheran
    Church, Old Falls Blvd.
    The Rev. Arthur Hornish per-
    formed the ceremony before an al-
    tar decorated with vases of flow-
    ers and palms.
    The bride wore a gown fashioned
    with a shirred nylon tulle
    bodice, shirred cap sleeves and a
    bateau neckline. Tiers of ruffles
    from waist to skirt featured the
    bouffant, floor-length skirt. An imported
    queen's crown of pearls)
    and rhinestones held a fingertip
    veil of French silk illusion bor-
    dered with appliqued lace edg-
    ing. Wearing matching gauntlets
    of nylon, she caarried a cascade
    bouquet of white roses and carna-
    tions.
    Miss Gwen Harvey, maid of hon-
    or, wore a nylon net dress of
    white, accented at the waist with
    tiny pink lace rosebuds. She wore
    a queen's crown of pink with a
    maline circular veil. She carried
    a cascade boouquet of pink roses
    and carnations.
    The Misses Deborah Carter,
    niece of the bride, and sharon
    Ohlrich, niece of the bridegroom
    were flower girls. Deborah wore
    a pink net frock and Sharon was
    dressed in nile green. Headpieces
    of pink and white flowers and min-
    iature cascade bouquets completed
    their costumes.
    Carl Belling, twin brother of the
    bridegroom, was best man.. John
    Ohlrich, brother-in-law of the
    bridegroom, and David Belling,
    another brother, were ushers.
    Mrs. Belling chose a rose chif-
    fon print dress complemented
    with white accessories.
    Mrs. Harry Carter, sister of the
    bride, received 100 guests in her
    home in honor of her sister's
    wedding.
    After a wedding trip to Miammi
    and Washington, D.C., the cou-
    ple are now at home in 16 Ben-
    ton St.
    Medsames Eugene Guido, John
    Ohlrich, Carl Belling, and Harry
    Carter entertained at prenuptial
    parties for the bride.

    A lifelong
    r e s i d e n t of the
    T o n a w a n d a s , Mrs.
    Belling lived on Fremont
    Street, Tonawanda, prior
    to her marriage.
    Mr. Belling was born in
    the Martinsville area and
    was baptized in St.
    Martin Church by his
    grandfather, the Rev.
    Schroer, who was serving
    the congregation at that
    time. Mr. Belling retired
    from the Richardson
    Boat Co. in 1959.
    T h e y have four
    children: Mrs. John
    (Leona) Ohlrich of
    Abingdon, Va., Carl J.
    (Joyce) Belling of Mt.
    View, Calif., Bruce

    A lovely wedding was solemnized
    Thursday afternoon. August 26th, at
    four o'clock when the marriage of
    Miss Eleanora A. Leber, daughter of
    Mr. and Mrs. Alexander Leber of 5
    Fremont street, t o Carl H. Belling was
    solemnized at St. Martin's church on
    the Niagara Falls boulevard. Rev.
    Theodore Bemer officiating. Gladioli
    and asters were effectively used in
    decorating the church.
    The bride, who was given in marriage
    by her father, wore a gown of
    ivory crepe back satin with Spanish
    ?? and pearl trimming and carried
    a shower bouquet of bride roses and
    cypsophelia. Miss Gertrude Belling,
    s i s t e r of the groom, was maid of honor,
    wearing orchid georgette over satin.
    Her arm bouquet was of roses,
    asters, sweet peas and gypsophetis.
    The bridesmaids were the Misses Elsie
    and Lucinda Leber, sisters of the
    bride, and Miss Ella Belling. They
    wore gowns of peach, Nile green and
    yellow georgette over satin with bou-
    quets similar to Miss Belling's. All
    the attendants wore gold metal head
    bands. Joseph Leber, brother of the
    bride was best man, and the ushers
    were Carl Leber, Alvin Wurl and John
    Wilson. The Logengrin wedding march
    was played by Miss Clara Schrosen
    of Buffalo and she sang "Hold Thou
    My Hand."
    Followingn the ceremony a wedding
    supper was served at the home of the
    bride's parents, which was beautifully
    decorated with gladioli, asters and
    snapdragons in rainbow colors. Cov-
    were laid for sixteen at the bride's
    table which was centered with a large
    wedding cake. Ninety guests were
    present.
    Mr. and Mrs. Belling will make their
    home on the Niagara Falls boulevard.

    North Tonawanda, March 31 - Charles Belling, 88, died Saturday night at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Adolph Thiele, of the Shawnee Road, Town of Wheatfield. Mr. Belling was born in Sweeney street when this part of the city was part of the Town of Wheatfield and the street was known as the Creek road. He retired as a farmer 20 years ago. He was a member of St. Martin's Lutheran church at Martinsville. He is survived by three sons, John of the Town of Pendleton, George of the Town of Wheatfield, and Charles Belling, Jr. of Tonawanda; four daughters, Mrs. Robert Thiele and Mrs. Louis Sattelberg, of this city; Mrs. Adolph Thiele of the Town of Wheatfield, and Mrs. Walter Denel of the Town of Amherst; 21 grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. He was also the father of the late Mrs. Anna Ewald, of this city Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 2:30 p.m. at the Hamp Funeral home, 37 adam street, with the Rev. Theophilus Berner officiating. Interment will be in St. Martin's cemetery.

    street, after a lengthy illness.
    Bom In Berlin, Germany, he .had
    resided In Tonawanda 65 years. He
    was a member of Branch 139. Workman's
    Benefit association, and the
    Stlem Evangelical and Reformed
    church.
    Surviving are his wife, Wilhelmlna;
    five daughters, Mrs, Fred
    Sattelberg, Mrs. Carl Belling and
    Miss Elsie Leber, Tonawanda, Mrs.
    William Hurdlis and Mrs. Edmund

    Mr. and Mrs. Alexander Leber
    of 5 Fremont street celebrated their
    golden wedding anniversary at
    their home last evening with a
    dinner and reception. The dinner
    was attended by nine of the sons
    and daughters and the wives and
    husbands, respectively, of the married
    children and 12 of their 13
    grandchildren.
    The children present were:
    George A., Carl and Edward of
    Tonawanda, Joseph of Buffalo;
    Mrs. Fred Sattelberg, Mrs. Carl
    Belling, Mrs. William Hurdiss,
    Mrs. Edmund Hartwig and Miss
    Elsie Leber all of the Tonawandas.
    The dinner was followed by a
    reception and was attended by
    many relatives and friends. Mr.
    and Mrs. Leber were the recipients
    of many valuable presents.
    Mr. Leber, who is 77, was born
    in Germany. Mrs. Leber, who is
    71, was born in the Martinsville
    section of North Tonawanda. They
    were married In the St. Martin's
    church in Martinsville. Since their
    wedding they have resided in Tonawanda.
