    lived in Buffalo for the last
    36 years and was self-employed
    as a interior decorator. He was
    a member of Calvary United
    Church of Christ
    Mr. Leber is survived by his
    wife, the former Harriet Benzino;
    two daughters, Mrs. David
    (Marjorie) Dickman of Chicago
    and Mrs. Frank (D e l o r e s)
    Tournour of this city; two
    brothers, Carl Leber of this city
    and Edward Leber of North
    Tonawanda, and four sisters,
    Mrs. Emma Sattelberg, Mrs.
    Carl Ella Belling, Mrs. Ada
    HurdUs and Mrs. L u c i n e a
    Wolfe, all of the Tonawandas.
    Also s u r v i v i n g are six
    grandchildren and s e v e r al
    nieces and nephews.
    Funeral services win be conducted
    at 2 p.m. Thursday at
    the Hilliard Funeral Home.
    Rev. William R, Walch will of-
    ficiate and burial will be in
    White Chapel Memorial Park.

    Alexander J. Leber, 84, died yesterday
    afternoon at his home, 5 Fremont
    street, after a lengthy illness.
    Bom In Berlin, Germany, he .had
    resided In Tonawanda 65 years. He
    was a member of Branch 139. Workman's
    Benefit association, and the
    Stlem Evangelical and Reformed
    church.
    Surviving are his wife, Wilhelmlna;
    five daughters, Mrs, Fred
    Sattelberg, Mrs. Carl Belling and
    Miss Elsie Leber, Tonawanda, Mrs.
    William Hurdlis and Mrs. Edmund
    Hartwig, North Tonawanda: fotir
    sons, George A., Carl A., and Edward
    C. of Tonawanda, and 'Joseph
    A., of Buffalo, 15 grandchildren and
    one great grandchild.
    Funeral services wil be held at
    3:80 pm. Monday at the home. The
    Rev. Walter-F. Hepzel will officiate.
    Burial will be at White Chapel Memortal
    parkr

    Mrs. Wilhelmina Leber, 90, of
    376 Falconer St., died Friday
    (March 6, 1959) at her home
    after a lengthy illness.
    A lifelong resident of this
    city, Mrs. Leber was a member
    of Salem United Church of
    Christ, its women's Guild and
    Home Department and of the
    Ladies Auxiliary of Post No.
    264, American Legion. she was
    the widow of Alexander Leber,
    who died in 1948.
    Surviving are four daugh-
    ters, Mrs. Fred Sattleburg,
    Tonawanda, Mrs. Carl Belling,
    Town of Amherst, Mrs. Wil-
    liam Hurdiss and Mrs. Lu-
    cinda Hartwig, both of this
    city; three sons, Joseph A.
    Leber, Buffalo, Carl a. and ed-
    ward P. Leber, both of Tona-
    wanda; 15 grandchildren and
    12 great-grandchildren.
    The Rev. Walter F. Hetzel,
    assisted by the Rev. Karl H.
    A. Rest and the Rev. Richard
    W. Hurdiss, Cleveland, Ohio, a
    grandson, will conduct the fu-
    neral service at 3 p.m. Monday
    at the Hilliard Funeral Home.
    Burial will be in White Chapel
    Memorial Park.

    Church of Christ (E. and R.),
    the Women's Guild and Home Department
    of the Church and Ladies
    Auxiliary of American Legion.
    She was the widow of Alexander
    Leber; survived by 4 daughters,
    Mrs. Fred (Emma) Satteiberg,
    Tonawanda, Mrs. Carl
    (Ella) Belling, Town of Amherst,
    Mrs. William (Ada) Hurdiss and
    Mrs. Lucinda Hartwig, North Tonawanda;
    3 sons, Carl A., Tonawanda,
    Joseph A., Buffalo and
    Edward P. Leber, North Tonawanda;
    15 grandchildren and 12
    great - grandchildren. She was
    the mother of the late George Leber
    and Miss Elsie Leber
    Friends may call at the Hilliard
    Funeral Home, 147 Delaware St.,
    Tonawanda, where services will
    be held Monday at 3 o'clock. Rev.
    Richard W. Hurdiss of Cleveland,
    Ohio, Rev. W. S. Hetzel and Rev.
    Karl H. A. Rest will officiate.
    Burial in White Chapel Cemetery.

    Mr. and Mrs. Alexander Leber
    of 5 Fremont street celebrated their
    golden wedding anniversary at
    their home last evening with a
    dinner and reception. The dinner
    was attended by nine of the sons
    and daughters and the wives and
    husbands, respectively, of the married
    children and 12 of their 13
    grandchildren.
    The children present were:
    George A., Carl and Edward of
    Tonawanda, Joseph of Buffalo;
    Mrs. Fred Sattelberg, Mrs. Carl
    Belling, Mrs. William Hurdiss,
    Mrs. Edmund Hartwig and Miss
    Elsie Leber all of the Tonawandas.
    The dinner was followed by a
    reception and was attended by
    many relatives and friends. Mr.
    and Mrs. Leber were the recipients
    of many valuable presents.
    Mr. Leber, who is 77, was born
    in Germany. Mrs. Leber, who is
    71, was born in the Martinsville
    section of North Tonawanda. They
    were married In the St. Martin's
    church in Martinsville. Since their
    wedding they have resided in Tonawanda.
