In Memorial Hospital, Canandaigua,
on Saturday, March 3, 1923, occurred
the death of Mrs. Adeline
Fake Gage, wife of Amasa Gage, of
the town of Gorham. Her age was
76 years". She is survived by her
hu sband; four daughters, Mrs. Floyd
Johnson, of Geneva; Mrs. Bert Ar-
nold, of Rushville; Mrs. E. G. Kipp,
and Mrs Jason Kipp, both of Gorham;
and by four sons, Lorenzo
Gage, George Gage, Anson Gage and
Amasa Gage, Jr., all of Gorham
She also leaves two brothers, Myron
L. Fake and Carlton Fake, of Rushville,
and eighteen grandchildren

March 11, 1918, was the golden anniversary
of Mr. and Mrs. Amasa
Gage of Rushville. Mr. Gage is a son
of Lorenzo Dow Gage and was born and
reared on the farm now owned by S. G.
Pearce. He will be 72 years of age.
July 31at, 1918. Mrs. Gage's maiden
name was Adeline Fake. She was a
daughter of Henry and Bersheba Ladd
Fake and she is one day younger than
her husband. They were united in
marriage by Rev. Huson, a pastor of
Rushville Congregational church. They
have always lived near Rushville. They
have eight living children, Mrs. Edward
Kipo, George Gage, and Amasa Gage,
Jr., all of Reed Corners; Anson Gage
and Mrs. Jason Kipp, of Aloquin; Mrs.
Floyd JohnBon, of Geneva, and Lorenzo
D. Gage and Mrs. Bert Arnold, of
Rushville; also sixteen grandchildren.
