James D. Barone, 67, of
1521 Pierce Ave. died in Buffalo
Saturday (Nov. 2, 1968)
after a long illness.
A native of Buffalo he came
to this city over 60 years ago.
He was employed by Union
Carbide Corp. as a furnace
operator for 20 years, and
retired in 1960 because of ill
health.
He is survived by ,his wife
Mary, and two daughters,
Mrs. Louis (Marie) Urso, of
this city, and Mrs. John
(Vincenette) McDowell, o f
Augusta, Ga., a son James
C. Barone of New Haven,
Conn; five brothers; Charles,
Joseph, Thomas, Samuel, and
Cosmo Barone, and a sister,
Mrs. Louis (Florence) Penders,
all of this city, and 11
grandchildren.
Funeral services will be
held at the Rhoney Funeral
Home Tuesday at 8:30 a.m.
and at Sacred Heart Church
at 9:15 a.m.
Burial will be in Gate of
Heaven cemetery.
The Holy Name Society of
Sacred Heart Church will
recite the Rosary Monday at
8 p.m.'
Friends may call from 2
p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9
p.m. today and Monday.
