    White carnations and pompons

    decorated the Wilson-
    Exley Methodist Church for the
    marriage of Miss ° Betty Lou
    Spears, daughter of . Mr. arid
    Mrs, Kenneth Spears, Lake Rd.,
    Wilson, and Pvt. Lester Belschner,
    son of Mr. and Mrs.
    Clarence Belschner, Irish Rd.,
    East Wilson. The candlelight
    ceremony was performed by the
    Rev. Walter Kingsley on July
    6, 1957.
    The bride wore a floor-length
    gown of roscpoint lace over
    white satin, with a scoop neckline,
    fitted bodice and long
    tapered sleeves. A crown of
    pearls and sequins capped a
    fingertip-length veil of nylon
    tulle. Her bouquet was white
    carnations and stephanotis.
    Miss Linda Spears, sister of
    the bride, .was maid of honor.
    She wore a pink.chiffon ballerina-
    length frock, with a matching
    headdress, and carried pink
    and white carnations. The bridesmaids
    were Miss Judith Ellen
    Schultz and Mrs. Herbert Dixon
    Jr., who were similarly attired
    in pale blue chiffon.
    James Rohring was best man
    and the ushers were Milton
    Clark and Herbert Dixon Jr.
    The bride's mother wore a
    pink silk dress with white accessories,
    while the mother of the
    groom chose blue and silver
    nylon with pink accents.
    After a wedding reception in
    Wilson, the young couple left
    for a honeymoon in Canada.
    On their return they will make
    their home in Clarkville, Tenn.

    the family home. Irish road, at 3
    o'clock and from St, Peter's Lutheran

    at 2:30 o'clock. The Rev. Carl W.
    Oldach will officiate. Interment will
    take place in the Lutheran cemetery,
