    A pretty June wedding took place
    Saturday afternoon at 4:30 o'clock
    at the North Ridge Lutheran church,
    when Alice Mae, daughter of Mrs.
    Mary Lievers, became the bride of
    Herman Belschner of Fredericka St.,
    North Tonawanda. The Reverent
    John P. Barkow performed the cere-
    mony.
    Lohengrin's wedding march was
    played by a cousin of the bride, Mrs.
    Fred Sievert and Mrs. William
    Johannes sang "Oh Promise Me."
    The bride wore a white crepe de
    chine dress and a white tulle cap-
    shaped veil with orange blossoms
    and carried an arm bouquet of white
    carnations. Her sister, Ruth Sievert,
    maid of honor, wore a nile green
    georgette dress, silver sippers and
    hose and a corsage of tea roses. The
    bridesmaid, Miss Esther Sievert,
    cousin of the bride, wore a rose
    georgette dress, white slippers and
    hose and a corsage of pale pink
    roses. Both attendants wore rhine-
    stones bandeaus.
    The groom's attendant was Wil-
    liam Bental of Wilson. The ushers
    were Clarence Belschner of Wilton
    and Walter Smith of Lockport. The
    bride's gift to her attendants were
    vanity cases and the groom's gifts
    to his attendants were white gold
    cuff links.
    Immediately after the ceremony a
    reception followed at the bride's
    home, the bride's table being laid
    for 14, decorations being in white.
    Mr. and Mrs. Belschner left on a
    short motor trip to Washington, D.
    C., Atlantic City and Philadelphia
    and later on will reside in North
    Tonawanda.
