Ronald C. Bement, of North Tonawanda, entered into eternal rest Thursday, March 12th, 2015 at the age of 85, suddenly at Buffalo General Hospital. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, Mr. Bement resided in North Tonawanda for the past fifty eight years. Mr Bement was a U.S. Army Veteran where he served in the Korean Conflict and was a member of AmVets Post 264. He was a retired employee of Dupont, Niagara Falls, after thirty years of service. Mr Bement enjoyed traveling with his late wife Geraldine to Myrtle Beach, was an avid car enthusiast, watching car racing, playing slots and spending time with his family.
Husband of the late Geraldine F. (Nee Hoffman) Bement. Dearest father of Bonnie Kitcho of Georgia, Beckie (Dennis) Maser and Teri Bement both of North Tonawanda. Proud and loving grandfather of Michael Kitcho, Melissa Kitcho, Christopher Kitcho,
Marc (Stacey) Maser, Sara Maser, Tammy (John) Sarzyniak, Tracie (Jonathan Meredith) Waterson and Tricia (Francis) Steele and fifteen great-grand-children and the late Alex Kitcho; also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will be present to greet relatives and friends TODAY, SATURDAY, March 14 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at the SABER FUNERAL HOME, 549 Oliver St., North Tonawanda (692-0271) where funeral services will be held on MONDAY, March 16 at 1:00 PM with the Rev. Karl Haeussler officiating. Interment Acacia Park Cemetery.

marriage to Pvt. Ronald Bement
son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bement,
2734 Pierce avenue, Niagara Falls.
The Rev. Charles W. Pryor. of
Hyde Park United Presbyterian
church, officiated at the double ring
ceremony.
The bride, given in marriage by
her father, wore a gown of ivory
slipper satin with fitted bodice and
long waist-buttoned sleeves. The
yoke was of shadowed net. Chantilly
lace was draped diagonally across
the full skirt which ended in a
cathedral train. Her fingertip veil
of Chantilly lace hung from a coronet
of orange blossoms. She carried a
colonial bouquet.
Miss Beverly Bement, sister of the
bridegroom, was maid of honor.
She was attired in lime green lace
and net with matching hat. She
carried yellow roses.
Leon St. Onge was best man.
Preceding the ceremony, Mrs.
Howard Hoffman, cousin of the
bride, sang, "Oh Promise Me" and
"Because."
The bride's mother chose a purple
afternoon dress with black accessories
and a corsage of yellow roses.
Following the ceremony, a dinner
was held for the bridal party at the
Red Coach inn.
An informal reception was held
later at the bride's home.
For her wedding trip, the bride
chose a deep purple suit with light
gray accessories and talisman roses.
Pvt. and Mrs. Bement will make
their temporary home in Augusta,
Ga., while Pvt. Bement is attending
school at Camp Goodson.
