    is survived by his beloved wife,
    Fvelyn (Bendt); father of Mrs.
    Arthur (Brenda) Reimherr of
    Rochester, N.Y. and Wayne
    Bobzien of Burt; brother of
    Mrs. Grace Moore of Burt;
    Burt Bobzien of Butt and Elwood
    Bobzien of Newfane;
    grandfather of Steven and Debra
    Reimherr and Beverly, Barbara
    and Christian Bobzien.
    Friends may call at their convenience
    at the Kenneth H.

    Fast Ave., Newfane, beginning
    tonight at 7 p.m., where funeral
    services will be held Thursday
    at 11 a.m. The family will

    Bobzien, 71, of 2088 Lockport-
    Qlcott Road, died today (Mar.
    10, 1970) at Inter-Community
    Memorial Hospital in Newfane.
    Born Sept. 29, 1898, in Newfane,
    the son of Christian and
    Ida Miller Bobzien, he married
    Eyelyn Bendt on June 9, 1931
    in North Ridge. He was employed
    at Kramp Cold Storage
    for 33 years and was" previous
    ly employed at E. T. Howell
    and Son, Newfane.
    He was a member of the
    Faith Lutheran Church, Newfane.
    Survivors include his wife; a
    daughter, Mrs. Arthur (Brenda)
    Reimherr of Rochester; a son,
    Wayne Bobzien of Burt; a sister,
    Mrs. Grace Moore of Burt;
    two brothers, Burt Bobzien of
    Burt and Elwood Bobzien of
    Newfane, "and five grandchildren.
    Funeral services will be held
    Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Kenneth
    H. Sherrie Funeral Home,
    6139 East Ave., Newfane.
    Friends may call today at the
    funeral home 7rom 7 to 9 p.m.
    and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and
    7 to 9 p.m. Burial will be in
    North Ridge

    A very pretty wedding was solemniaed
    Tuesday, June 8, at 2 p. m., at
    St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran
    parsonage, North Ridge, when Rev.
    John P. Barkow united In marriage
    Miss Evelyn E. Bendt, the youngest
    daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph.
    Bendt of the Shadagee road,
    Wilson, and Herman Bobzien, son
    of Mr. and Mrs. Christ Bobzien of
    Butt.
    The bride wore a gown of pale
    pink georgette, made sleeveless and
    hat of white. She carried an arm
    bouquet of sunburst roses, baby's
    breath and ferns tied with a large
    bow of white tulle and pink and
    yellow satin ribbon.
    Miss Evelyn Hauseman, niece of
    the bride was bride's maid. She
    wore a canary yellow georgette
    frock and a picture hat to match
    her gown. Her flowers were pink
    roses, sweet peas and ferns tied with
    a large bow of pink tulle.
    Burt Bobzien, brother of the
    bridegroom, was beet man.
    A reception followed at the
    home of the bride for the immediate
    families. The rooms were
    decorated with pink and white
    crepe paper, white wedding bells
    and vases of cut flowers. Covers
    were laid for sixteen at the bride's
    table, which was earned out In a
    color scheme of pink and white.
    The bride presented her maid
    with a half dozen silver teaspoons.
    The groom presented his attendant
    with a combination fountain pen
    and pencil.
    Ouesta were present from Syracuse,
    Newfane, Burt, Appleton,
    Wilson and the vicinity.
    Mr. and Mrs. Bobzien have left
    for a two week's motor trip to Boston
    and other eastern points. Upon
    their return they will reside at
    Burt.

    BURT
    - Testifying to the esteem
    of a wide circle of friends,
    approximately150 relatives and
    friends attended the funeral Tues-
    day afteernoon, of Christian F.
    Bobzien Sr., lifelong resident of
    this locality. the display of floral
    tributes was large and beautiful.
    Chairs had to be placed in the
    aisles and rear of St. John's Luth-
    eran Church, Drake Settlement
    Road, where rites were conducted
    following a service in the home.
    The Rev. William H. Dallmann
    officiated. Bearers were six nep-
    hews: Howard and Norman Bob-
    zien, Lockport; Elwood Miller, Cam-
    bria; Lawrence Bobzien, Coomer
    Road; Walter Bobzien, Lockport-
    Olcott Road, South, and Doval
    Whitehead, Burt. Burial was in
    Corwin Cemetery.
